Missing a number of key features of a four star hotel including regular sheet changes, a bit phone in the bedroom, appropriate charging ports. Wi-Fi regularly dropped out, property needs major investment to be brought back to life after significant wear and aging. Breakfast was very low quality with limited spread. Fridge in room did not function and there was no minibar. Loud music on Thursday and Friday night until after midnight and on Saturday morning. Very beautiful location and could be an excellent hotel with sizeable investment in renovation and food service. I also recommend implementing a free train station shuttle service considering the sizeable walk and limited cab and Uber facilities. Also provide guests with plastic glasses and bottled water in rooms, and allow them to take wine glasses to their rooms on request. Staff were pleasant and efficient.

The hotel is nice and with a wonderful view. The superior room with sea view is perfect. Big parking . The breakfast is terrible like in one star hotel, some eggs with no taste. Please do something with the breakfast because take down so a nice hotel.

We were moved to a room because the shower wouldn’t drain and water was flooding the hallway. The second room shower also didn’t drain but the night desk person said there’s nothing she could do until in the morning and there were no more rooms. My husband complained and said we needed a shower. She put us in 122 which come to find out is on the second floor (3rd if you count floor zero?) The shower stall barely drains but at least fills up, and only one door moves , we asked for maintenance while we were gone all day but it wasn’t fixed. Ask for a mini fridge if you need one. Beds are too firm and two twins pushed together with a crease. Decor needs updating or just fresh pant. Mildew in shower tile. Francesco in restaurant was very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately food wasn’t good and overpriced. The chicken cutlet, fish sticks, and hamburger patty was from my elementary school days. Don’t order the tough steak. French fries are good, salad is good, bread not so much, fried calamari ok. Skip the pricey breakfast unless you like a lot of sweets. Hotel tax sounds little high 12.00 pp/pd what desk clerk said but booking only says 12.00. Beautiful VIEW! Rent car from Europcar +390766502464. Good price friendly people (Maria). Call Sara for van taxi +393922548284 very nice and helpful.

This place should be closed down. It is disgusting. For nearly 200 Euros per night, didn't even get a bottle of drinking water or any coffee in the room. It is falling to bits & should be demolished. The food is awful & the staff have no idea what they are doing. The paintwork in the rooms looks like it was completed by a 4 year old. The rooms are bare & spartan. There is NO WAY this is a 4 Star hotel unless that is in some weird parallel dimension. It is dirty & unfit for habitation. Stick to some of the nicer hotels in downtown Civitavecchia like the San Giorgio. I normally do but thought I would give this a try on the seafront for a change. What a TERRIBLE MISTAKE that was. Only redeemable thing was the girl who originally checked me in on the reception was quite polite. Even the staff working this hotel know it is a DUMP.

firstly, 4 star.? must be for facilities even thou most things are tired or broken.
I stayed there twice last week and was extremely disappointed in relation to cost verses quality. the first night i stayed i was in a room and everything seemed to be broken. even a piece of wood was glued over a crack in the bathroom mirror. the toilet seat was broken, 2 out of the 4 bathroom lights didn’t work, only a trickle of cold water came from the sink tap, paintwork missing and very poor on doors and frames, tiles missing where old shower screens were fitted to walls, mosquito screens fitted to shutters and not finished off. and i could go on.
the second night i stayed i was in a different room and had to clean the toilet myself when i entered the room from check in. again a very tired room. i went to the bar for a beer and the waiter shouted at me from the other side of the room for me to get it myself. this happened again when in the morning when i asked for a coffee from a waitress. I couldn’t get a drink at the bar in the afternoon until 7pm. And the second night cost me over 180.00€ if it was my hotel i would be ashamed to open the doors. i would love to say “ i will never stay here again” but unfortunately it is the only Accor hotel in the area and i pass here for work

I’ll keep the words as brief as possible.
Long story short a group of us booked months in advance and upon arrival were told that the hotel was overbooked due to a number of cruise ships having docked nearby.

We were given substitute sub standard rooms in a nearby hovel and didn’t have access to amenities. Attached are several photos from the group.

We felt we went back in time to a hotel from the 80s which hadn’t had guests since the 50s.

Also non existent wifi, no kettle in the room and the constant smell of sewage from the bathroom.

Hotel has seen better days. Although clean and functional, need some TLC. We had 4 rooms, and while ours was good, everything working, others had trouble with TV, toilet and shower.

Rooms are large for Europe, and clean. Bed was ok. Our bathroom was also large by European standards.

The food was ok, but the menu was limited. The waiter was very helpful, and service oriented, although he spoke very little English.

Continental breakfast was also ok, with boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham and bread and croissant. No gourmet meal but hot and acceptable.

This was probably a very nice resort in its day, but I suspect Covid impactes the resort greatly.

We had an amazing time! I would like to thank the hotel crew for their hospitality. New Year’s Eve dinner was absolutely amazing, with compliance and respect of all anti covid rules.
We were given a big room with huge terrace and big TV. Mister Elly ( responsible for dining affairs) was very attentive to the customer’s needs.Location is really nice with the view of the Riva di Traiano Port. We definitely will be back again with our friends.

Just ignore this hotel and don't bother to stay. It definitely needs renovation and its not worth spending any money.
Everything is very dated and and very poorly managed.
Just ignore this property if you don't want to be disappointed & feeling frustrated..

We had booked a room in San Giorgio hotel for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary there before taking a cruise but when our plane landed we were called from the hotel and told that they were having Covid positive persons in the room that was meant to be ours and that they couldn't leave and the hotel was otherwise fully booked so they had booked us to Mercure Civitavecchia Sunbay Park hotel instead. The hotel was so dirty and disgusting, personnel not very friendly and breakfast very simple. Definitely not how we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel.

I would call the hotel directly and ask for their help. You would be able to find out who cleaned your room that day a well as what taxi service they use. By pinpointing the date and time you might be able to zero in on the right cab. Offering a reward might be an added incentive in having the staff really take a look see. I wish you luck.
