In the fine print it says check in stops at 8 - this when restaurants in Cortina don't even open for dinner until 7. If arriving even a minute after 8 they charge an exorbitant 20 euro "late" checkin. If arriving after 10 it balloons to 50 euro. Never have I been to a hotel with such an early check... More

We call the hotel in order to change our reservation, because due to an urgent and important surgery to my father in law we had to cancel our trip to Cortina (we have an hospital receipt) We know that as per policy, they didn´t return us the money if they don't want, but we asked them to move our reservation... The breakfast always the same. One kind of bread, one ham, one sausage, one chees. The coffee machine hardly gives any coffee. The rooms are cold. Very cold. There was no room for 10 of us to seat down together. The nearest ski lift was driving distance. The only positive was the sauna.

This was our second visit to Piccolo Pocol and we can only re-confirm each and every word in our former review of 2013. So in order not to repeat ourselves, we suggest you read this very detailed review as nothing has changed and it is definitely still a very lovely little place to stay if you are looking for reasonable... We really enjoyed our two-night stay at the charming Piccolo Pocol! We were warmly welcomed to this clean, simply and lovely B&B/hotel. Our room was on a corner, with two balconies and huge windows, so that we could enjoy the beautiful views of the amazing Dolomites. I loved that there was a spot for coats/ boots, etc. on entering the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on a road trip through the Dolomites. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or welcoming, and we were made to feel very at home. They were also able to provide me with gluten free alternatives to bread at breakfast, which is usually a problem with continental breakfasts. The hotel is a 10 minute... More

Situated in the mountains 10 minutes outside of Cortina d'Ampezzo with an amazing view of the Dolomites, this place is restores one's soul. The owner, Ingrid, knows the local restaurants owners and town well, has a dry sense of humor, and provided wonderful hospitality. She is also multi-lingual (including English). Room was clean, very nice with a STUNNING balcony view,... More

This hotel was a bit out of the way, but totally worth it. The view was stunning, and the room was cozy and comfortable. It was a delight to meet Ingrid, and she recommended great places to have dinner. We didn't want to leave!

Piccolo Pocol is just a slice of heaven! I stayed here with my family for a week and just loved it. This little family run hotel is exactly what I look for when booking accommodation overseas, but rarely do the internet photos and the blurb match the reality. This one does. Our double room was beautiful and immaculately cleaned and... More
