Simply put, we had a great stay at the Sassongher Hotel. From the minute we arrived until it was time to go, five days later, we couldn't have been happier. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted at the front desk, being from the USA, we appreciated English being spoken. We were shown to our gorgeous spacious room with a view... More

With friends we went into the Dolomites for a short skiing trip at the end of the season. We chose the Hotel Sassongher for residence, which turned out to be a good choice. All the staff was very friendly and eager to fulfil all our wishes. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and clean. The sleeping quality of the beds... More

Friends were recommended this hotel by a person who knows to enjoy the good things of life, so expectations were high when arriving at the hotel. When you fly into Innsbruck, the easiest way to get there is rent a car or take taxi (Austria transfers worked well for me, 200 EUR). The hotel is located at the top of... More

Dear Simone, thank you so much for review and that you enjoyed the stay by us. Perhaps at breakfast there was a misunderstanding because we do not charge the eggs. It's true we not put it on The Buffet, becuase on every table there is a small card where the client can choose several kinds of eggs just in time... More

We stayed here for a week. The food is great, better than any expensive restaurant. The rooms are very big and also the bathroom. Everything was really clean. The service was also great , the girls in the lobby can help you with ski lifts, reservations and almost everything. But the best thing is the spa, it has 4 saunas,... More

This is an 'old fashioned" hotel in the best senses: great location; great food and great service. The rooms range in size, the best are the deluxe rooms, especially those with southern views over the town and the valley. The atmosphere of the hotel is more akin to a comfortable b&b....informal and relaxed, but with first rate facilities (gym, pool,... More

We stayed at this special property with another couple in July as a base for hiking/exploring in the Cinque Torre and at Alpe de Suisi. We also visited Cortina. Although there are many summer tourists in the area, they were not flocking to this level of hotel, so we pretty much had the run of the place during our three... More
