Erice is an ancient hilltop town. It attracts a lot of day trippers. The way to enjoy it more is to stay there, because in the evenings and mornings it is close to empty.

First, no you cannot drive to the hotel. Hotel staff meet you at the gate to the city. You can park there for a daily or weekly rate. However parking is very limited. Better of prearranging with the hotel to drive to a designated resident parking on the perimeter road. Then they drive you and your luggage right to the front door. Yes there is ac but you will not need it. Yes there are rooms with a view of Trapini and the sea, also room with view of the inner court. Our room overlooked the street. Quiet time after the tour groups leave. Then, very peaceful.
