We stayed five nights in the Lory having been placed there by the local tourist office and having checked out after one night of our Airbnb accommodation booking, which was horrendous (Poly House, via San Bernardo in Garda). Unlike that place our room was immaculately clean, with crisply laundered bed linen and a fresh and nicely decorated en suite bathroom. There was also a balcony which looked onto the garden. We are not big breakfast eaters so the simple buffet with boiled eggs and very good coffee was fine for us.

It is situated about ten minutes walk from the centre and is next to a busy road but the double glazed balcony doors and aircon ensured a good night's sleep. We also found a more pleasant route into town via a little park rather than taking the main road.
We enjoyed our stay in the Lory and our stay in Garda which was ideal for exploring the area via...

Thank Dougspec
