Actually I didnt visit Piccolo in Jan '17, but many years ago. I was just delighted to see that its still around, seemingly unchanged. The location is nothing but superb! Directly on the square by the marina with an esquisite western view. Im going back this spring, hoping the half-board, very resonably priced food still stand up to earlier years...

We had a lovely stay in this little hotel, looked after very well by the Dorella family who seem to work tirelessly all hours day and night. We were on a package tour and knew that our meal selection would not be 'a la carte' but we were very impressed by the delicious, perfectly presented and varied meals we had,...

Small basic hotel, with lovely family atmosphere. Steffano greeted us and was available for all our needs, It has a great location right in the middle of Lake Garda. We were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is very clean and the lady who cleans the rooms every day is very nice and helpful. The food was nice, not...

Stayed at the Piccolo for a week at end of August and from arriving at the hotel late in the evening and having our cases taken directly to our rooms and once settled brought to our table for an evening meal which was 3 courses and excellent. Service is great and nothing is too much trouble. We were half board...

Just returned from a lovely week at this small, friendly and spotless hotel in Garda. The food and wine is local and well prepared, we enjoyed it all, the service was also excellent. The choice of 3 starters, 2 mains and 3 desserts was sufficient for us (and encouraged us to try some fish dishes we would probably not have...

Upon arrival Garda town ticks all the boxes for a town on the lake, and the hotel is small but well positioned in what is virtually the centre of the promenade. Upon arrival were greeted warmly by Steffano first impressions were good but were a little concerned about the w/c and shower but that was fine as only we had keys...

Great location right in the centre of Garda but the rooms are extremely basic and very, very dated. The ceiling fan seems like something out of another century. Air con is essential on Garda lake in the hot summer months and the fan just doesn't freshen the air at all. I was scared it was going to fall on top...

We stayed here in July 2016. This is an amazing family run hotel, they can't do enough for you. It was lovely to have your breakfast and evening meal over looking the lakeside. It was very hot in July and there is no air conditioning, however the ceiling fan worked extremely well so no complaints here. The use of the...

Having been to Lake Garda the previous year in May we were eager to sample this area again . We found this little hotel in Garda town with Thomsons at a very reasonable price in July (late deal) and thought we would give it a go. I'm so glad we did Its not the most luxurious hotel by any stretch...
