Excellent location, but the hotel and its staff belong to a bygone era. Clean and comfortable but the furniture and fittings were a bit tatty. The bathroom was very big but the position of the aged shower head and the badly fitting folding screen made it impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom floor. On our first night the tour...

Lovely turn of the (20th) century hotel. I f you're into architecture the outside is what I can describe as Arts & Crafts with an Alpine feel. Firstly I was struck by the friendly professionalism of the reception team but that extended to the restaurant team also. the public areas were smallish (in comparison with what looked like a large...

An elegant hotel with stunning views over Lake Garda and with access to a small promenade with a good selection of restaurants. We stayed in room 303 which has a large balcony/terrace overlooking the lake with Sirmione in the distance. A very relaxing stay with very helpful reception and restaurant staff. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices, the dining...

Hotel is beautifully located overlooking the lake with easy access directly on to the pedestrianised promenade deck that borders the lake where many of the public bars and restaurants are located. The guest rooms were spacious and well furnished as to be expected from a Hotel of this star rating. The reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly ....

We stayed here as part of a group and loved it. Rooms spacious, overlooking the lake and spotlessly clean . Minibar in the room, but as always , expensive. Lovely pool which unfortunately we didn't use - weather was warm and some days wet and cold rather than hot so not conducive to swimming ! Lots of cocktails were consumed...

Generally speaking this is a good hotel and I suspect we were just unlucky. The hotel was far from full so reception could have placed us in more or less any room they chose, but unfortunately we were given room 202. This is situated behind the Reception Desk over the rear entrance with a window that opens to the hotel...

What a delightful hotel, it was spotlessly clean and our room overlooked the lake to Isola del Garda and the balcony had a table, and two chairs. The food at the hotel was of a good standard with lots of authentic Italian dishes...Outside the pool and gardens are perfect for relaxing in. The staff were friendly and helpful and the...

What a lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings! For someone with a food intolerance the staff were more than helpful and every meal was so enjoyable. Particular thanks to Serge (possibly not spelt correctly). Whilst the lower rooms may have a slightly obscured view of the lake the terrace more than makes up for this with a wonderful panoramic view of...

I stayed there for 7 nights in September 2016 as part of an accompanied rail journey. I had a lake view room and the views were wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable and well serviced. Customer service was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was also excellent at dinner and the breakfast...

We visited as part of a coach tour, and had paid to upgrade to a lake view with a balcony. Glad we had done but it was hardly a balcony, just held 2 small chairs. other members of our party had better balconies,or even terraces, and hadn't paid for upgrade, just what they were allocated.Ah well ,it was a lovely...
