Travellers' Choice
The HOTEL ALEXANDER of Giardini Naxos is a well furnished and elegant structure with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to the family conduction, to comfortable rooms and to the garden that surrounds all the hotel, your holiday will always be pleasant and relaxed. Our Hotel is located at only 100 meters from our beautiful Sicilian sea, near by the little bay of “porticchio”, in an enchanting coast line surrounded by an uncontaminated nature, beside the ancient archaeological site of Naxos, first greek settlement in Sicily, where, during 734-735 a.C. greeks from the Cycladic islands established the ancient town. 200 mt from the Hotel, you will find another archaeological site with a museum of the first greek settlement in Sicily, all surrounded by the gorgeous Mediterranean flora. In the common areas you will indeed notice our Love for Giardini Naxos, with lots of frames and stamps of old times exposed inside our Bedrooms. Our Hotel is located in a strategic position, with lots of amenities, restaurants, shops, beach clubs which can be easily reached in 5 minutes walking. There is also a bus station from where you will be able to reach Taormina, Etna, Isola Bella and many other main sights of Sicily. Our 29 bedrooms are all provided with wide furnished balconies, TV, air conditioned and safe. Our Hotel also provides a wonderful swimming pool, a lift and it’s connected to a private parking at just 30 meters!

What a great find - the hotel is in an excellent location, only minutes from the beach but with a lovely neighbourhood feel. It Is peaceful and has a very relaxed and personal feeling - you will very soon know all the members of staff. It is simple but has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. The staff were brilliant, especially Francesco on Reception and Adina at the pool bar - they both made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. On Friday, there was a great night of traditional music by a fantastic band which was really enjoyable - fun but not cheesy! The pool is a huge bonus - it is quiet and peaceful and is a nice alternative to going to the beach. The sun loungers and pool furniture all looked brand new and very smart. The pool bar serves great drinks, all really good value and Adina is attentive to everything around the pool and takes great care of everyone. We would love to come back!

We stayed here as part of a student tour group. The staff were amazingly accommodating and helpful. The rooms had mini fridge and a decent sized bathroom. All rooms had balconies with table/chairs and either a view of the ocean or Mt. Etna. There were a couple glitches with the rooms (door knob problem, shower head issue, lights went out) but the staff fixed them immediately. It is a 1 block walk to the beach and there are cafes and a grocery nearby. Breakfast was fine with croissants, ham and cheese, cereal and yogurt. Dinners were ok, but obviously prepared for a student group (pasta bolonese & meatloaf one night and more pasta followed by a bunless burger and fries the next...) I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area. The rooms & friendly staff made our stay.

3 points for 3 star hotel. I believe its fair enought! Especially if we consider the price for a night in comparing with other 3 star hotels in Europe. But however I would like to point out with BIG PLUSES on following: * The young man on the reception with the name Francesco is amazing, kind and really friendly. You may count on him for any requests and questions * Assistance of the personel in hotel was really good in order to get great service regarding to needs in the room or any kind of reqierments that you might have * Croasans with the chocolate are amazing and I believe that those ones are homemade * Overall experience with the hotel stuff is positive Description of the room: Room is spaceous, clean, and good enough for what you actually need. Bathroom is ok, might need a bit renovation, and essentials such as: shampoo, shower gel... also hair dryer is not power enough, and couldnt hold on for more then 1 minute of being active. Half board service: Breakfast is okay, but its repetative not much news regarding the menu set up. Dinner :) contains self service buffet with great vegatables. And for the main menu you are up to choose between two meals. Also,if you find that you need a change of the HB menu dont forget that close to the hotel you may find plenty of restaurants that are amazing as well. Sicily sightseeing: This is mandatory cause you didnt come here only for a hotel and its service experience! You are here for much more. My recommendation if you are here with the car go visit: Aeolian Islands!! ( choose one or more there are 7 islands) Taormina, Etna, Siracuse, Beaches of Noto: San Lorenzo, Beaches of Letojanni... Also you dont need navigation just install offline map over the app Here we Go!! Kind regards for Hotel Alexander team hope to see you soon!!

Superb location, only a few meters away from a beach, small supermarket and a bus-station. Spacious and clean room. The breakfast was very simple, but as expected when you take the price in considerstion.
