Good public areas, most rooms spacious. We were on a package tour of Sicily. Breakfast excellent, dinner disappointing, soup made out of a package! Staff ok but not exceptional, both pools very cold. Trip to Etna was a disaster for those who paid the 62 euro each to go above the 6000 ft coach park. It was absolutely freezing, winds...

We stayed here for 8 nights and used the hotel as a base to explore North Eastern Sicily. Our room was spacious and pleasant with a great view of the ocean and Mount Etna. The staff were helpful and polite. We only ate breakfast which was typically continental with a good range of pastries. Fresh fruit salad and real Italian...

Don't know if it was because we were there with a tour group but no charge for the pools (indoor and out) or towels and nobody asked who we were so...think it was general policy now. Room was clean and comfortable, traditional without any modern wow factor. Lovely balcony overlooking Etna. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food on the...

Going by the reviews it looks like 2014 was not a good year for that property. We used it as a base for some nearby exploring and – it was a treat for us. I like the Italian “great gesture” – as long as it is followed by an efficient and friendly service and here it was. Had a ”mountain...

Hotel is very well situated (5 min from the beach)and staff was very helpfull and nice. There is nothing I could complain (except we had to pay for the wifi in the room and for the sunbeds...

Arrived off-season for a one-night "treat". Receptionist welcomed us (not) by stating "I don't know this hotels.com" and spending 10 minutes looking at our booking confirmation before apparently indulging us by giving us a temporary room while she actually looked on her system to find our booking! We received no welcome, no explanation of breakfast/dinner/spa arrangements. At dinner we ordered...

My wife and I stayed here for four nights on a tour. Staff were friendly & pleasant as you would expect of any hotel and spoke good English at the reception desk. Pool and surrounding gardens were also quiet good. Our room was tired and cheaply furnished, NO mini-bar stock, NO bath, air-con didn't work during daytime (petty penny pinching)...

I've actually stayed here twice. It basically is what it is, the rooms are very antiquated and bare minimum. The grounds are very nice and the staff is very helpful. The owner is always around and very nice. The pool area is very nice especially since they charge you for the beach use it does not come with your room....there...
