Detailed Reviews
My husband and I had a wonderfull time in this hotel!
We came here a couple of days to relax. Indeed nothing much to do in the neighbourhood. Although you can make some nice trips to the sea. But the hotel is very nice, beautiful building, beautiful swimming pool, nice relaxing room and fitness with a view. The rooms are basic, but very clean, it was our perfect first stop to relax!
Some rooms are close to the street, so there's some noise, but we've put in ear pluggs! There are also rooms further from the street where you don't have that 'problem'.
Loved the restaurant too!.

We spent 3 nights here in May. The rooms were sparse with no place to store folded clothing. The bathroom did not have a shower. It had a bathtub with a hand held shower head. The water coming out of the tub and sink was brown.
The restaurant was very good and we also enjoyed the breakfasts.

Stopped over in Latina en route to the Amalfi coast. Apparently this is an old converted post office. Room was a bit hot as the air conditioning was not working properly. Not much close to the hotel so we had dinner there. Food was ok, again a bit bland. Breakfast was edible but at €150 per room you would expect just a little better. Staff were friendly in fairness so as a one night stop over it was grand!

This hotel is a little gem on the Appian Way! We drove up and held our breath as we were to be staying the major part of our trip. It did not let us down. The room we had in the block by the pool was great and very quiet away from the main building. Basic though quirky and a decent size which also had a dressing room with a desk for your 'IT' facilities. No bath.
The breakfasts were taken outside, plenty of variety - we even counted 30 cakes on one morning! They make their own jams from local produce. We ate in the hotel restaurant most evenings and found the food amazing so why go elsewhere? Although we did discover a lovely restaurant across the road during our second week. The hotel restaurant staff were very polite and helped in whichever way they could.
Our only criticism is that the pool, which is in a nice part of the hotel with lovely views over the mountains, could have been maintained a bit better. Around the edge of the pool the grates had some black mould residue which could easily have been cleaned and on some occasions there was a little litter around. It was a shame as this was the only let down of the whole stay......owner please take note.
We would recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

We spent a night here while visiting Sezze on our way to Rome. The room was very spacious (there were 3 of us traveling together) but very basic and very dark. This would not be a good hotel for a business traveler. There was wifi available but it was very sporadic. So I would not recommend if you needed to be online for work. The grounds were very beautiful, it is on a very large piece of land. It is very peaceful and quiet there. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The best part of our stay though was our dinner in the restaurant there. It was probably one of the best (and biggest) meals I have ever had. (The bread is just amazing!) You must order the seafood appetizer and the steak was just incredible. The restaurant is outdoors and lit by hundreds of little candles - it is really beautiful!

We spent two nights after a tour through the Abbruzze mountains and before diving into Rome. This former post stop has been transformed beautifully and with greate taste and we enjoyed the pool, garden, hospitality and the food. In the evening the restaurant was lit up with candles hanging from everywere. The team was super friendly and you could sense that everyone is proud of this place. The suite was quiet, bathroom fine and the aircondition, which is necessary at this time, worked fine. We felt very relaxed. Internet connections were unstable, but this seemed an issue also in our other hotels. Breakfast is more on the sweet side.. we counted 21 different cakes, than savory. A bit remote, but we did two nice trips into the countrside based on the teams recommeendations and those were great.

Stayed here 1 night with a group of 30 of us traveling together. The hotel is nice and had updated bathrooms but the rooms could use an update. Our bus could not come near the rooms so we had to lug our suitcases over Very rough stone driveway a very long way. Would have been nice if they would have delivered our bags. The air conditioning worked fine and there was a mini fridge in the room. The grounds were lovely, there is a huge pool and huge spa which was empty.
The restaurant prepared a 1st century dinner which was very good and interesting. When we came into breakfast the next morning there were 25 cakes, pies and loaves of bread along with the usual Italian buffet breakfast.
Overall it was a lovely visit.

Our tour leader chose this hotel because of its nearness to the garden at Ninfa, and also because of the hotel's great restaurant. We had a seafood dinner that exceeded all expectations. Our rooms were in the main building. Mine was on the 3rd floor (the attic) which is not served by the elevator, so I had a set of stairs to climb. The elevator was difficult to use: if you took your finger off the button, it stopped moving. My attic room was clean and comfortable. It had no window, just a skylight over the bed, but I found that a pleasant novelty. The hotel staff seemed unused to dealing with tour groups, and forgot to collect and bring downstairs our suitcases on the day of departure, but they sprang into action when reminded.

An excellent location, rooms were 'rustic and quirky' but nice and clean. The restaurant was good without being exceptional and depending which member of staff that served could be very pleasant or a bit grumpy ! The pool and leisure facilities were good but getting to the point where they need some investment and more regular maintenance. Unusual place but overall Ok for a couple of nights or overnight on the way back to the airport.

We stayed for four nights at Foro Appio and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is spartan but luxurious at the same time (not an easy balance to strike). The rooms are spacious and clean but spartan (no horrible pseudo art on the walls). The grounds are wide and green, the swimming pool excellent. The breakfast beats that of most hotels I have been too: excellent ham and mozzarella, a huge home baked cake selection (north of 30 when we were there) and great home-made jams (melon, tomato, fig and kiwi to name a few). The restaurant is also very good and I heard very good things about the pizzeria as well. We will certainly return here on our next trip to the Agro Pontino.
