A nice modern hotel in the new part of Aquila and within walking distance of the historic centre. The room was well presented and clean but was probably better sized for a business overnight stay rather than say a romantic break. The staff were highly professional and the breakfast was first rate. Ideal for a one night stpover.

Clean hotel with 24hour reception. Everything needed is available, although not in the most luxurious way. The location is very convenient near the highway, parking is no problem. its one of the cheaper hotels, and its good value. For me though the bed felt almost like solid rock, which was the only disappoinment. The purpose of a hotel is to...

I read a few poor reviews on this hotel and, in my opinion, it does not deserve them! I found the Hotel Amiternum to be clean, comfortable and friendly. It is 20-30 minutes walk from the major tourist sites in L'Aquila, which suited me fine. Close to plenty of shops, restaurants, take-a-ways and supermarkets makes it well located. The price...

I tried several times via email to contact this hotel to make a reservation and did not receive a response. This hotel is located at the bus hub and is convenient to make bus connections if you're travelling elsewhere and need to 'overnight' it. As others have said, it is far from the historic center of L'Aquila (too far to...

Clean, comfortable room with reasonable air conditioning and a good bathroom. WiFi not free and about a half hour walk from all the things that are open in the city (very convenient for the coaches, though), but it served my purposes. Was also easily booked at sod all notice when my previous hotel fell through.

One of the worst hotels i had ever stayed. It's one of the few hotel that survived after the earthquake at L'Aquila and for this reason is overpriced 100 euro a double for a very small dirty room, without balcony and view. The people that manage this hotel are very rude and cold. The breakfast is very poor and i...

We stayed here because it was easy to get to by coach from Rome. But it is a long way from the centre of town - and from the train and bus stations. The local bus service is somewhat untransparent! - no route map or timetable available!!!! Room OK (basic and clean), staff friendly. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special....

This Hotel is really out of date amd stopped in time. The television (20 cm) has a real key on it! Breakfeast is poor. Outside noise is a problem. The positive aspects is that it is clean. The negative: the noise, the breakfeast, the staff, the amenities.

I don't know what that photos of a biulding on a mountain is of on this site but its not this hotel. All the other pictures are accurate. This hotel is not close to the city center. You need a car or public transport. It is difficult to drive to the hotel from the historic center because of one way...
