A no frills hotel which is reflected in the price. The hotel is accessible and the staff friendly and helpful, especially Marco. His aim is to make sure you enjoy your stay. The hotel has good intentions which have not been seen through so, yes there are issues with the floor of our shower room meaning water didn't drain away properly yes, it would have been good to have a grab rail in the accessible bathroom and yes, there could be more pictures and better toiletries. On the plus side, the towels are good quality, the hotel is very clean and breakfast is basic but plentiful. Road signage is clear - our sat nav only went up to Via Fura 18 and we followed our noses for the last 100m. The surrounding countryside is fabulous and a nearby restaurant (close enough to walk to) serves fantastic food and gives a 10% discount to hotel guests.

What a great place this is. A beautiful spot, sitting below the hills, overlooking the valley, facing the setting sun. So good we stayed an extra night. Marco and his team were wonderful hosts, and the ravioli... mamma mia :) molte grazie

1. It is difficult to find. Gps can't find it. You have to use Google.

2. No glasses or soap in the room. No pictures or mirrors on the walls of the room.

3. The bathroom is very small, e.g. one has to leave the shower door open in order to use the toilet otherwise there is no place for your knees. And the toilet paper is not on a roll - instead it comes out of a box in separate sheets. I last time I encountered such a thing was in France 30 years ago and I hated it then. And then there is the shower. It is smaller then a phone booth. Heaven help you if you drop your soap - the shower is too narrow to allow you to pick it up BUT wait, I forgot, they didn't provide any soap.

4. Apparently the reason for the small bathroom was to create space in the bedroom for a second bed. But the second bed blocks the closet and makes the closet unusable.

We were 25 motion cyclists, who on our trip to the Abruzzo Region stayed at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights.
We received excellent treatment both before and during our stay at the hotel.
Marco and his helpers gave us a perfect service.
The hotel arranged shuttle bus to 3 nearby restaurants the 3 evenings we stayed here. In all places we had a nice dinner with good Abruzzo wine.
Next time I arrange a bicycle trip to Abruzzo, this hotel will be our base before the stages of Lago di Campotosto, Campo Imoeratore and Gran Sasso.

Nice rooms, great breakfast and the staff is very kind! The place is quiet and the restaurant nearby is good! Hoping soon they'll have their own.
The sight is amazing.
L'Aquila is near and the skiing fields are 20 minute far!
Nice shot! We'll come back for sure...

Place immersed in the greenery of the L'Aquila hill, silence and quiet reign supreme! Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms, abundant breakfast, savory and sweet.
A huge thank you to Marina, the girl at the reception: since it was raining and the only restaurant nearby was closed (we didn't want to get more rain, being on a motorbike), she went to get us some pizzas in town and even set the table for us the table in the gazebo!! She was exceptionally kind and courteous!!
Thanks thanks thanks

I stayed 2 nights in this property. Beautiful new and well-maintained structure. Very large rooms (we took slightly larger ones), well furnished. The painting on the walls is very accurate, the "personalised" doors are particular: each room has a name and a representation of a flower. Friendly staff, good breakfast. I would recommend including a soap holder at least in the shower: it's a bit inconvenient not having anywhere to put shampoo and soap.
Definitely a positive opinion.
