We stayed here for three nights and loved the atmosphere and location of the hotel. Breakfast was good too, with lots of choice and the staff is very friendly. The room was quite big, with a bath tub and very clean. The hotel itself is very nice looking, with a great garden with pool. The pool was closed unfortunately when we stayed there, because they had to test the water, but the hotel staff gave us a discount because of this. We will visit again for sure and can definitely recommend staying here.

We didn't book this hotel in Lecce but simply asked their reception in passing for a map so that we might find our booked hotel. Not only did they book a taxi for us to our booking but offered their facilities whilst the taxi arrived. Our booking, Arthotel & Park soon proved so unacceptable that we reverted to a fresh search and soon settled with the Grand Hotel di Lecce.
The staff and facilities continued to surpass expectations, in terms of services and location and made out trip thoroughly enjoyable. We'd recommend with no hesitation whatsoever.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights on our trip to Lecce. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with great air con. The breakfast selection was great and nice to be able to sit outside. The pool area was lovely and the hotel supplied towels specifically for the pool for a refundable deposit which was useful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location was great for us, very close to the train station and only a short walk into the historic centre. Only downside was the very limited number of plug sockets in the room - only one was usable.

My partner and I booked a suite for 2 days. Staff were very friendly we got and early check in which was good staff overall on all levels were helpful. Parking in around the back of hotel for €15 per day. Room 215 was spacious and clean. Carpet on passage way was tired and worn but the hotel reception and breakfast rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast was ok, lots of sweet pastries and cold meats , bread ect. Our only issue was with no hot running water both mornings. Staff explained it would be on in 10 mins, which we returned to room, this never happened. We tried to watch tv whilst waiting, the tv didn’t work. I never told staff about this as I felt I may Iook like I was just picking and moaning. I feel 2 mornings without hot running water isn’t acceptable in any hotel, regardless off the star rating or price. So that’s why I’ve rated it 2 stars. We told the receptionist this as we left and she apologised and said she wasn’t aware of a problem.

We stayed here in June 2024. The hotel is decorated with original furniture. Rooms feel very classical with long curtains and wall sconces. Beds were comfortable, ample closet space. We were happy to find a fridge and tea maker in the room. Our rooms were spacious with big bathrooms, although the room on the second floor had more daylight than the one on the first floor. One room had a big bathtub, which was nice, but the bathroom smelled a bit funky. Carpeting needs an update. Breakfast is good with many Italian cakes and pastries, like the local pasticiotto, as well as eggs, cold cuts and quiches on offer. The American coffee and juices offered taste bad but you have the option of ordering ‘Italian coffee’ , orange juice, etc with a waiter. During summer, breakfast can be enjoyed on a beautiful terrace adjacent to the pool area. There is also a vending machine with refreshments in the hallway next to the pool. Location is excellent, especially if you arrive by train.

The hotel is in a nice historical building in front of the railway station. Downtown is a walking distance.
My room was very large with an high ceiling, A little bit dark, a lamp on the desk would be appreciated. Furniture were ok. There was a fridge, here too, a little bit more items would ave been appreciated.
The breakfast was kind of ok.
Winter time, so I didn't use the pool neither the spa.
Wifi included in the price quite ok.
Personnel kind and professional.

Close to the train station yet also close to the center of Lecce, the Grand Hotel was a comfortable spot to rest our heads at the end of a long day of sightseeing and beach-visiting. All the staff were super helpful and very friendly, eager to accommodate us. The breakfast area was lovely with outdoor poolside tables under large umbrellas or inside an elegant art deco room. Our room was especially spacious and quiet. We will definitely return if we visit Lecce again.

The hotel is close to the railway station and a short walk from the historical city centre. We loved the careful, artistic detail with which the lounge and dining room were decorated. Our room was large and very pleasant. The shower was in the bath , which was perfectly okay but may present a challenge to some .We found the pool - a good size for a city hotel - very relaxing to come back to after sightseeing in sweltering temperatures.

The grand hotel lecce feels like it could do with an upgrade. My low score was mostly that the classic double room 228 was very small indeed with a mattress that was hard and uncomfortable. Not a great nights sleep. The staff were friendly enough, breakfast was ok, certainly not as good as I would expect from a 4 * hotel but the coffee was good. It wouldn’t be hard to improve on this score.

Yes. The parking is quite away behind the hotel. But we found it easier to park in the streets and ;pay the very reasonable charge.
