This hotel is quite expensive (139 EURO/night) for what it offer. The room is small with TV from the 80s, the bed is hard, the building is old and the carpet smell like someone piss on it. It was close to the ski lift Teola but its only Red run and no beginner run. The breakfast was not attractive (cereal...

Dear Wiiiza, We take this opportunity to inform you about the new management. On October 20th 2014 we, Family Galli from Livigno, took over the Hotel Villaggio San Carlo. We have been working in tourism since three generations, first with the Hotel Bivio, our main house, and enlarging the company over the years with the hotels Larice and Alegra. Our...

I booked 4 nights in San Carlos to spend Easter holiday there. Everything was very perfect . The kindness of the staff, comfortable accommodation, delicious meal and easy reachable ski lift to Mottolino makes it unforgettable experience. If I go back to Livigno, I would like to stay here again.

Hotel Villaggio San Carlo has a good location very close to the ski lift Teola. Staff is nice, breakfast is ok, beds are to hard, but all in all San Carlo gives good value for money. There is no elevator, so you have to use your feet. If that is a problem ask for a room on ground floor and...

The only good thing that it was clean... I would say it's only worth about half the price we actually paid (100 EUR per night). The hotel was obviously built 30 or more years ago and never again restructured and redecorated. Although it is very close to one of the skilifts, it is not one of the main skiing areas...

We stayed there three years ago... Location is out of town quite a walk to anywhere really. The bus terminal is however right outside. Food is terrible. I have stayed in Livigno many times now, and this is not the best in town. See my other reviews if you want to enjoy your holiday more. There is a Butlins Happy...

We've spent there one week skiing. And i couldn't say any positives about this place... Claustrophobic room, Stinky bathroom... The whole building needs renovation. There is only one advatage. You can start skiing directly from hotel, and come back on ski to. But slopes round there...the best i've ever seen.. wow!!!

Me and my friends recently stayed at the San Carlo Hotel which had to offer the worst service that we ever experienced. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were cleaned daily and swimming pools was available to use. However when the dinner service started the madness had begun. Menus in different languages floating between the tables, disorganised waitresses...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Alpen Hotel Village, a 3-star hotel in Livigno, is on the border of a centuries-old wood and offers you a charming view of Livigno. It is an ideal place for those who want to take a break surrounded by nature, pampered by our staff and with the comforts that the hotel offers. The complex is made up by a central building where you will find the reception, a welcoming bar, a nice restaurant and a quiet lounge, and an area with a swimming pool, outdoor saunas and a wellness centre, and 7 connected chalets where the rooms are. This fall the Galli family has taken over the management of the Alpen Village Hotel. Our family has been working in the tourist business for 3 generations and our philosophy has always been that of offering quality holidays to our guests: cheerful, welcoming atmosphere, excellent services, comfort, wellness, activities in the surrounding area, delicious dishes and a good value for money. In winter as well as in summer, it is an excellent starting point for bike rides, excursions on foot or on skis thanks to Mottolino skiing facilities that you can reach also on foot. For us every guest is part of the family! His or her satisfaction is our joy! ... more   less
