We booked The Auberge as a base to stay at because we were meeting friends from Diss and having driven past it many times, we decided to give it a try! We visit Norfolk often and have stayed in most of the hotels in the area in the past. There is ample parking, the location, although on the A140, is...

Unusually I am writing a review having not visited. I booked the four poster room at short notice and with a 100% charge if I later cancelled. Seconds after booking I looked hard at the pictures and realised that there was a possibility that the bed had a valance but no canopy. I checked and was indeed right. This was...

Curryken, thank you very much for your 'generous' review of the Auberge. We are genuinely unhappy when we are obliged to charge a cancellation fee, we would much rather our guests arrive and had an enjoyable stay with us. we do hope we'll have the pleasure of welcoming you some time in the future.

We visited the Auberge on Mon.16 2010 as a birthday treat, and we found the restaurant very cozy. Anybody wanting a very good meal with good service in the Diss affair would be very pleased. And as the Auberge is run by the family, the service was great. We had a offer for two which included a three course meal, which was cooked...

We spent New Year's Eve here for the second year, with family. We had a nice welcome, absolutely brilliant food and wine. Love this place for a special occasion. We were even all given a lift home by John and his son.

A warm welcome with attentive service welcomes you ibto this small but perfectly formed restaurant. Well laid out with modern decor. Lots of dishes to choose from and the food is delicious. More expensive than the usual restaurants but the quality of food and service is worth it

Meeting up with friends who had booked lunch for us at The Auberge. Although located on the main road, there is very little road noise & once you enter the restaurant (mind the step) you find a well organised environment. On our visit we were the only guests but the proprietor offered friendly & welcoming service. Choice of set menu...

The 6 of us all had great meals & I'm afraid lots of wine.. Glad we did it by taxi.. Great surroundings & friendly staff. It stand out to being family run. With their fixed price menus its super value.. Just the amount of wines to get you.. But all good. Great selection of dishes & wines.. Keep coming back...

This is an excellent hotel set in a nice tranquil location, the rooms are decorated to a high standard in a traditional style and the hotel has a comfortable and homely feel to it. The breakfast and dining offer high quality food and a great choice on the menu too. The hotel is conveniently situated on a main road leading...
