After 4 years as hotel guest, i called to book two rooms for 1-4 march. They first said ok but did not send any confirmation by email and i called 4 times over the weekend to solicit the confirmation, always being assured that everything was ok and i will be emailed soon. Then monday morning was actually emailed, saying that...

Back to Carlo Magno again for a regular winter conference. The hotel is beginning to look a little worn. Staff were pleasant enough and my room was spacious on 4th floor with an outlook towards the mountains (and road). Little natural snow on this occasion so no ski in and out. Small bus can take you to ski lifts nearly...

This hotel is pretty good, although the rooms are a bit Spartan. Its Achilles Heel is the food service. While the food itself is so-so, the wait staff is at best indifferent and stretched thin, and at worst positively rude. And the "coffee" served at breakfast was disgusting.

Our ski group stayed here for a week of skiing at Madonna di Campiglio, which had a wide range of slopes and spectacular scenery (when the mountains finally became visible after two days of heavy snow). It was easy to get to the ski slopes by walking out from the hotel's ski room, up to a tiny beginner hill, and...

We traveled to the Carlo Magno, from Maryland (USA), with the Columbia Ski Club. Although my wife and I do not ski, it was a wonderful vacation. The facilities are very nice, as are the staff. Roberta, at the front desk was particularly helpful and friendly to our family with helpful trips, advice, and directions. We really appreciated her help.

We spent there a week on family holidays and overall we were quite happy. The hotel has excellent spa facilities, the swimming pool and hydro-massage is perfect, breakfast and dinner buffets are rich (it's only normal that some foods are much better than others), rooms are generally OK, all in all you can tell that the establishment is run by...

+s The junior suite room was spacious, food of great quality and majority of staff always professional especially the receptionist Roberta and Andrea! The resort offers ski rental and storing facilities and it is beside the slope 54 which can be accessed from the hotel and leads to Fortini ski lift. We bought the ski passes at the hotel and...

Went for 4 nights as part medical conference and part ski trip. This is a lovely resort hotel with excellent food and a great atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and the staff always helpful. Perhaps the rooms are a little Spartan and the furnishings a little tired? Did not bother me but for some...
