We stayed in a two bed apartment as that’s all TUI had left. The staff are really nice, the cleaners especially so as has been said before. No issues at all there. Yes the road is noisy, we knew it would be. The restaurant is closed for the year which I only knew because I contacted San Pietro directly before we went to book a table, TUI shouldn’t be advertising it. The apartment was huge, kitchen well stocked. You get towels, a tea towel, toilet roll, soap and a hairdryer, towels, bedding etc changed on the fourth day of arrival, towels to be left on the floor if you want them changed. Our kitchen and bathroom faced the road with a lovely view of the castle and goats on the terraced area, lemon groves too! Our bedroom, spare room and lounge diner faced the pool. You can see the mountains too. The balcony was tiny, no chairs so you have to use a dining chair. It is concrete unlike the hotel bedroom ones which are railings that you can see through. The shutters on the windows are metal and very loud when opened and closed. The doors to the rooms can’t be shut quietly, we went out one morning at 6.15 to catch the bus as we were heading to Bomerano to walk the path of the gods. The walls seemed to shake, I’m sorry if we woke anybody up. You can as in other reviews hear from the rooms around you. We booked here as we walk a lot on holiday and only use our accommodation as a base as we are out most of the day. All in all, it’s functional and clean and well placed for walking. We walked to Amalfi, Ravello, Minori from the hotel. Stunning area and explore the back streets, very interesting with friendly people and lots of cats!

The outside of this property does need serious attention to improve the appearance. The inside is typical of many Italian hotels. Traditional in appearance, but very clean. Warm welcome, and we were shown to our room and helped with our luggage. Our apartment looked very clean throughout and had a freshly cleaned smell about it. It was really well equipped with a fridge/freezer, full-size cooker, and hob. The bed was seriously comfortable. There was no aircon in the bedroom, but there was a ceiling fab. Being October, we were fine without air-conditioning, and there is air-conditioning in the lounge, if needed. The hotel is on a busy road down to the coast, but as our bedroom was at the rear of the apartment, we were not disturbed by any road noise when sleeping. Local supermarket just down the road and about 10 minutes walk to the seafront. Personally, apart from the person who checked us in, we didn't find the reception staff very interactive. They never looked up if you walked past, and we were never asked if everything was okay or had we had a nice day, etc. Even when asking for our passports back, they were just handed over, with no further engagement, which I have not experienced before in any hotel.
Overall, though, our stay was adequate. Maiori restaurant menus, being a town with lots of local fisherman, are very fish and seafood focused. If you do not like one or both of these, apart from pizza and some pasta dishes, you may struggle to find sufficient menu options. We found nowhere offering chicken dishes, only one offering lamb, pork, etc. It's just something to be aware of if choosing Maiori as your holiday destination.

Arrived on Friday 19th of July after a delayed transfer, friendly greeting by the owners and bags were taken to rooms.

Room one with double bed, bathroom but no balcony. Room two with single bed, bathroom and balcony. Both compact, cleaned and towels changed daily. Has free wifi, decor was fine. Because of the proximity there is a lot of noise from doors opening and shutting and people talking and walls are quite thin.

Swimming pool area clean, spacious with a bar. Big pool and small children's pool. Staff at bar very helpful and friendly, made the best Aperol Spritz! At weekends they have family and friends over which can get quite intrusive. Towels are available at the pool on request.

To go to the town, turn right out of the hotel, follow road right to the bottom, 10-15 minutes. Also a shorter route, if you turn right at the first tarmac road with "stop" printed on the road, this takes you into the heart of the town.

Lots of shops, cafes and resturants. Not many shops that sell souvenirs. Walked around the seafront but beach is mostly prviately owned by different hotels.

Breakfast is from 7-10 am, staff are very polite and efficient and good selection of continental food.

Hotel loaned us an umbrella on the one day that we had thunderstorms, pool table available.

Hotel overall was brilliant, would reccomend!

We stayed for 17 nights at the Hotel Residence San Pietro and were very satisfied with the stay. The hotel is conveniently located away from the heavily trafficked coastal road, but still close to good restaurants and shopping.
We stayed in the newer part of the hotel which was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. Our superior room with a balcony had a good size, with minibar, two chairs, a table and a large wardrobe and a large bathroom with a large shower cabin.
As there are no carpets in either the corridors or the rooms, which is positive for cleaning and hygiene, it means some noise from the corridors, especially when some guests are talking recklessly loudly late at night and slam the doors instead of closing them. But I guess you can't have it all!
The staff were friendly and very accommodating when we had questions.
Breakfast was good with a large selection and we had a table reserved for our room every morning, so no worries about waiting for a table. The restaurant does not serve meals other than breakfast
The pool area is nice and well maintained, with good sunbeds and umbrellas and you will be given a clean pool towel every day. In the pool bar you can buy drinks and snacks all day and a light lunch for two hours in the middle of the day. The only irritating thing for an older couple was when there were music played with a monotonous bass rhythm, which was annoying all the way up to the balcony and the room. We pointed it out a few times but it happened almost every day, so the staff must believe that this is what most guests want.
There is free and stable wi-fi throughout the hotel, including in the pool area.

All in all, a positive stay at Hotel Residence San Pietro which can be recommended.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the seafront, most of the walk along a pedestrian street with shops, cafe etc. The hotel is a bit dated, but the staff were really helpful and friendly. We booked a double room and got a room with 2 bedrooms, large bathroom, small balcony overlooking the pool. Very clean.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to staff shortage. Breakfast was ok.
Maiori is not as crowded as Amalfi, and also a bit cheaper, it’s very easy to get to coast villages by boat.

I stayed here as a solo traveller at the end of May for one week and it was a very lovely little hotel. The staff were very polite and friendly and were on hand to answer any questions I had.
My single bed room was the perfect size for just me with everything you can need including a huge bathroom, lots of storage and a small
Balcony over looking the beautiful green hills and tennis courts. I was missing a tea tray for the first few days but if you ask at reception they will provide you one.
The pool area was very nice but quiet so I tended to go to the beach instead which is only a ten minute walk away.
The food was good but there could have been a bigger hot food selection at breakfast. If you love a full English, they only had scrambled eggs, toast and cold meats. I am a vegetarian and the staff in the restaurant were very accommodating and helpful with adjusting my meals for me however the only main option was a caprese salad.
I went half board and The hotel was very good value for money however I do think they could have included water with your dinner and tea and coffee at breakfast at no additional cost but that is just me being very critical!
Overall, a very clean, friendly and lovely hotel which is a perfect base for exploring the Amalfi coast

Stayed here for a week family 2 adults 2 teenagers. Upon booking requested a pool view on arrival really late we were given a room at front of hotel no power was on so no air con had been on so it was like walking into a sauna. Very noisey on the main road traffic does not stop at all spoke to reception next day they said we could move in 2 days. The apartments are huge with 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms lounge kitchen and hallway only downside 2nd bedroom only has a ceiling fan no aircon. This first room also had bad electrics the power tripped every 15 mins spoke to reception they were quite rude and said had too much plugged in but only had aircons and fans plugged in 😤 2nd room was much quieter as couldn’t here the road. Clean rooms but we never had a cleaner come into our room once, maybe this is because we moved on day 3 but even so no towels etc were changed.
The weekends local people come in to use the pool area and friends of the hotel so on the Saturday and Sunday this was extremely busy and all sunloungers were taken up the staff ran round after these people so the ones staying kind of got forgot about and couldn’t get a bed if came later in the day. Saying that the week days by the pool there was no problem loads of spare loungers. The pool bar staff lads worked so hard and never stopped even after having a accident they were in working hard.
Great location 10 min walk to shops and restaurants
Tip ask for room at back of hotel

We have just returned from a lovely stay at the San Pietro Hotel in Maiori. The hotel is spotless, very high standard of cleanliness and the staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. They very kindly arranged a taxi to take us to a wedding when our travel plans were scuppered by a Rail strike and they were so nice, kind and helpful. We were a family of three in a triple room. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was spotless and looked as if it had been refurbished recently. The room itself, was great for 2 but for three (2 adults and a teen) could have benefited from another couple of drawers. There was no balcony which was a little bit of a draw back for drying swimwear/towels but no big hardship - we managed for 10 days and didn’t really miss it. Breakfast was included and a good selection and variety of continental breakfast was available. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The cleaners, the reception staff, the pool bar staff were exceptional!!
The pool is lovely, with plenty of sun beds and a nice pool bar for drinks, snacks and ice cream - light lunches are available and very tasty. There is a shallow pool and a separate deep pool with diving board and slide (slide for kids only).
We had a very pleasant stay, we would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon! Thanks to all at The San Pietro for a very pleasant stay.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our air Canada vacations trip and it did not disappoint. The front desk is very welcoming and available to answer any questions. Rooms were modern and impeccably clean. Just a short 10 minute walk to the beach and local shops. A shuttle service is also available though we didn’t require it. The pool is clean and a chair is as always available. The dinning room staff was also very friendly and always attentive to our needs. I would stay here again and recommend it to family and friends !

Stayed in a two bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. As others have said the apartment is huge. Very clean and comfortable. Short walk to the town, beach shops restaurants and bars. The apartment is reasonably well equipped but there’s no microwave or dishwasher. There was a small balcony but no balcony furniture. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were very efficient as was the air conditioning in the living area. The kitchen and bathrooms in my opinion are long overdue for an upgrade but that said they are perfectly functional and clean. The pool and pool area was lovely, plenty of sun loungers for all, the pool area was very quiet most of the time. Enjoyed the pool bar and had a couple of nice lunches there. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place as a good base for exploring the Amalfi coast. Always good to return to Maiori after a day visiting the busier places such as Amalfi. I would recommend ferries rather than buses for getting around. I would stay here again.

10 to 15 minutes walk to the beech. There are free areas on the beech as well as paid for sunbeds. There is a shuttle bus but we never used it as the walk is not far.
