What to say about B&B Maratea, you will not want to leave! I myself had an upstairs room with a perfect little terrace where my grandson and I would lounge on the sun beds after a hard day swimming and sunbathing before heading down to Pepe's for a delicious dinner. My daughter's room was on the ground floor beneath mine...

Together with 2 friends my wife and stayed at Maratea Garden House for one night 3 October 2015. We arrived at lunchtime with our own food but our hosts insisted on sharing their own food which was excellent as was breakfast the following morning. The rooms were very good and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

This was our second visit to this lovely and welcoming b&b. Planning the long trip from Oregon, USA, to southern Italy, this was a place we had to return to. The reason so many people who have reviewed this home have raved about the warmth of the owners is the genuineness of their welcome. We have gotten to know their...

Mariano and Giusy are warm and friendly host and hostess with a lovely property and 2 lovely cats. Homemade honey, pizza, bruschetta, and sweets make for a fantastic meal time. They are within a mile or so of lovely beaches and make for a great base to visit the magnificent coastline. The turn to their property is on the left...

A wonderful place near the sea and the mountains. Cozy rooms and the best staff ! Although we speak bad Italian we managed to, with English and body language to talk about everything with the whole family. We got good tips about what to do and where to eat within the Maratea area, and were invited to taste the best...

How can we count the ways. This is a beautiful small B&B a little ways from Maratea. So peaceful, and immediately that we got there they offered us juice, which turned into bruschetta and juice ( the best bruschetta we've had in 3 weeks in Italy). Then great directions to not only the Christ the Redeemer statue but to our...

We stayed at this precious B&B in April, 2014. It is in the charming coastal town of Acquafredda on the breathtaking Basilicata Tyrrhenian coast. At first blush it's just a clean and comfortable B&B in a lovely setting. But pretty quickly a rich experience unfolds. Giusy and Mariano are the owners. While my wife and I are rather reclusive, the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The warm welcome of the "Garden House - Maratea B&B" is rooted in the genuine hospitality of the family Limongi. They have always generously hosted family and friends to share their holidays together and now their house is also open to visitors. The house is situated in the heart of Acquafredda, a small paradise, where the guest can enjoy the precious harmony between the accommodation and the natural setting as well as the attention to detail highlights love and respect for the environment. At first glance the guest is struck by the beauty of the archaic and breathtaking landscape. The typical green Mediterranean vegetation, with its inebriating colours and perfumes, slopes gently towards the deep blue sea (only 800 meters far) and offers an enchanting and unforgettable view. ... more   less
