When we first got off the train station at Mestre, it was a very long walk to the hotel (15 mins); not the most fun thing to do with two heavy backpacks. This hotel also did not have any elevators. Once we got there however, we were greeted with very friendly staff which took time to explain to you what...

There was a problem with our room at the time of check in due to a plumbing issue but Jo (staff on duty) had already arranged an excellent solution at their annex accross the street. The facilities were clean, fairly modern, spacious, within walking distance of nice local restaurants / transportation & other services. Short bus ride to Venice from...

We stayed at the "La Torre" suite. Our family comprises of myself and my wife and 4 young children. The accommodation is well refurbised and roomy, with 2 large bedrooms, the lounge and a small kitchen and bathroom. The fact it was on the 2nd floor (UK counting!!!) was not a problem for us. The staff were very helpfull and...

I'm writing this review a year later, after just remembering our wonderful time in Venice. Since we found this hotel via Tripadvisor, i think I owe a review of this place. Clean, cozy, pristine bathrooms, good breakfast and nice neighborhood location not far from Venice at all. Easy bus ride, and a great grocery store on the walk to the...

Great value for a place close to Venice. Short bus ride to Venice & walkable distance from nearest train station if you do not have heavy baggage. Very helpful & friendly staff, who gave us instructions on how to get around and advice on the best deals on transport tickets. Very clean & comfortable little rooms. The only minor downside,...

with a 15 - 20 minute walk from Mestre Railway Station, with luggage and young children, we easily found the hotel. The staff were wonderful, being friendly and very helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and bathroom spotless. Our only issue were the inconsiderate neighbouring guests, who were up at 5:00am for an early flight, and were so loud that...

I like small hotels and this one is a beautiful villa with a small but nice garden. The area (Marghera) was a suburb mainly with nice villas with gardens, and I find Margera much prettier than Mestre which seems to me like a more urban environment. The train station was about a quarter on foot, but around the corner its...

We were charmed by the Villa Graziella from the start. The hotel sent us very good set of directions as to how to get there from the train station. The room was on the small side, and on the second floor (bad for heavy luggage), but was well equipped, airy and comfortable. Roberta and the weekend staff were very helpful...

I booked this hotel after seen the nice pics at their website and because of the wifi connection. As I was booking a triple room I was giving the choice of the so called Suite La Torre... To states in advances that we always consider the negative reviews we may receive as a way to improve our service, as far as they are realistic and they can provide positive input. We would like to remind you that we are a small 2 stars family-run hotel, which implies that we are not a luxury hotel, but the descriptions...
