We stayed one week at Family Beach Resort Il Girasole at Marotta di Mondolfo. There are several thing to like at "Il Girasole": the location right at the seaside, the good abundant food mostly suitable for children. the helpful stuff. There are also weak points: the rooms are awfully small and (except the most expensive ones) without windows.The beach is unsuitable for children: there is no lifeguard and the sea gets deep very quickly. In general the resort does not really match the description on the website, it is actually much worse.

We have decided to spend our first vacation together in a resort by the sea. From many offers that we had in our hands we opted for “ il Girasole”, that seemed to fit more in our case. In fact we enjoyed our stay there and the structure has met our expectations. Once we entered our eyes were flattered immediately by its beauty, the bungalows are separated by a wonderful lawn always looked after and full of fragrant flowers. The structure doesn’t have any architectonic barriers. The beach and the see are visible for any area of the structure. And for the kids there is everything, starting from the mural paintings that look like giants on the walls of the village, continuing with the animation created for them and also the pool with a beautiful playing ground filled with enormous bounce houses. Our 5 year old boy went wild every day in-between various shows and theater plays, outdoor activities, pastry sweets that were served at our restaurant. The only bad thing was having to leave and return home !!…
