There is usually something good to write even when we have not enjoyed a property very much, but with this one, we have to say it is probably our worst experience ever. The first thing we learned when we arrived was that they did serve dinner but there was only one thing on the menu???! ( it happened to be... More

Although in the middle of an industrial estate as soon as you stepped through the gates it was like going back in time (early 20th century). Our room (122) overlooked an industrial area with a train line running parallel, though we never heard the trains. We peeked through the shutters and realised why they were almost closed! At least the... More

Unfortunately we were in a small room in the old part of the hotel, but it was beautifully decorated, swagged curtains with 'tails'. Room was very small with over sized furniture Beautiful marble bathroom with a sea view! We stayed three nights in the hotel on Travelsphere tour. Plenty of choice for Breakfast although lots of sweet cakes, there was... More

Our 5 day bike tour brought us to Marsala for a night. We were fortunate to have been booked Ind the Grand Palace. Nice room, swimming pool, wifi and very friendly staff who knew enough English to cover for our non existent Italian. While the motel appears to have been grander - one building is not in use - it... We stayed here for 3 nights with a Travelsphere tour. It was an old style hotel. Our room was in the older part of the hotel. It was a large room with a small balcony but no chair or table on the balcony. The plug in the basin in the bathroom did not fit well. There was no real bar... More

Stayed here as part of Travelsphere ‘Secret of Sicily’ tour group. The hotel was good with clean rooms and a very good swimming pool. The breakfast was good, typical continental fare. Our dinner was included and was cooked well but very small portions. Would recommend this hotel as bed and breakfast only as the town was only about 30 min... More

This is a charming old style hotel. Rooms are very large with comfortable bedding and nicely upgraded bathroom. Breakfast is a typical Italian buffet with more sweets than substantial food, but you can special order your eggs. Just tell the waiter. Beautiful pool area. Not within walking distance of many sites, but there is a winery within walking distance, so... More

We were there for an extended family weekend. Hotel has really beautiful pool, rooms are large and well furnished. Key feature is hotel is a bit removed from center so it is really peaceful and quiet. Staff is very friendly and corteous, we forgot something in the room and they organised a courier for us the following day. Very good... More

A pleasant surprise to have had the chance to stay at this charming hotel. The wonderful dining hall complete with vaulted ceiling is simply breath-taking and the table-service conducted with elegance and precision has been a notable highlight. The menu is classic Sicilian with freshly cooked dishes served on fine porcelain. The rooms are beautifully appointed with quality linens, soft... More

Nice grounds and pool area -- err, that's it. Very poor breakfast. Dinner no choice menu -- swordfish starter followed by swordfish main course, anyone? That was one night's offer -- for 30 euros. And on another night the restaurant was closed completely. Finding somewhere else to eat is a problem because, as other reviewers point out, getting to and... More
