The hotel is far away from everything (including Mestre), it was a whole adventure to get there from Marco Polo Airport, but I won't get into public transportation details as they were very well explained by Wales007 below. Its location is good only for those travelling by car, as it is close to a highway exit. The room we got...

We stayed at the Ariston for 3nights. Our purpose for the visit, to see Venice. Situated on the outskirts of Mestre, this hotel is a little too out of the way for our liking. Although spotlessley clean and freindly, with a very good buffett breakfast, we would have prefered to stay closer to Venice itself. The ACTV public transport was...

Arrived on Saturday 7th - took at taxi from main station (Ferrovia) - cost 13 euros for 6 of us - it was too far to walk. Arrived at hotel to a friendly reception. Rooms were clean and pleasant. Towels, shampoo and soap in bathroom. The rooms were cleaned daily, towels changed if needed and bedding changed once during our...

we stayed at the hotel for two nights and liked the location. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean and in good condition. We did not expect a first class hotel, but found the Ariston perfect for our purpose - to explore Venice.

This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The location is further than what is advertised, the mattresses were old and you felt like you were going to roll to the floor. The rooms smell and the Air Conditioning is controlled by the receptionist. We had to ask them to turn it on after we checked in, then...

Rooms on 1st and 3rd floor are basic but okay. Hotel was clean and receptionist very friendly guy and helpful - BUT - it is impossibl t o understand why any sane person would have put together the bathrooms in such a way (!) some of the twins and single rooms on the 2nd floor are beyond belief.. Seriously -...

The receptionist, Diego, was warm and friendly upon our arrival to the hotel, which seems kinda' stranded. There is practically nothing around it except for a cafe restaurant next door named Spaghetteria, which one should only go to if at risk of starving to death. Breakfast food served by this hotel was really pathetic. Also, the staff are not trained...

My fiance booked this as a surprise so I didn't have a choice really. It was a quaint place. Nothing spectacular I'm afraid. Rooms were small but alright. Bedding wasnt changed during our stay but towels were. Breakfast was a no-no! I'm used to hot cooked breakfasts when I stay at hotels...Not so, at Ariston! It's all sweet pastries and...

Propably the worst hotel i have ever stayed in (in it's price class). The hotel advertises itself as being in the heart of the venice region. This does not mean it's in venice - to the contrary, it is in the heart of venice province, which makes it closer to the next city of Treviso than to Venice itself. The...
