Located in the center of Mestre, the heart of Venice is easily accessible. I absolutely loved this nicely located and well furbished three star hotel. It has a great combination of old-fashioned charm and utility. My room is quite compact and simply furnished with air...More
Really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Venezia. It was good value for Venice and was very close to shopping and the bus route into Venice proper - approximately 15 minute ride. The food in the restaurant was some of the best we had in...More

We took a cab from Marco Polo which I think was 35 euro or thereabouts. To get to the cruise port from the hotel, we took the tram from the nearby terminal as it was leaving before the bus. There was plenty of room for our luggage and it was quite than the bus. From memory it was about 1.50 euro each. The tram terminates at the Plaza Roma and from the we walked across the road to catch the 'People Mover', a kind of monorail to the port. It can be a bit of a walk to the actual cruise terminal, depending on where your ship is berthed.
