A really special place. Warm welcome with a glass of local wine, wonderful high ceiling rooms, large comfortable bed, special location on hill above Ghemme. Not to be missed. Surrounded by vines, woods and grass fields, an old courtyard and imposing portico.

Beautiful house, old from the outside and well maintained inside. Large rooms, very welcoming hosts. Loved our walk through the vineyards. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our stay, would have loved to try it.

We stayed there for 3 nights on July 2014. The place is run by a very friendly family who were always ready to help. It has a large playground for kids to play. The rooms are big and very clean. The food is great, home made with high quality products. Very close to Malpensa airport (about 40 minutes drive).

Searching for a one-night stop reasonably close to Milano's Malpensa airport we found Il Cavenago in the town and wine region of Ghemme. It was perfect. A bit out of town, quiet, surrounded by vineyards, reasonably priced and with dinner available, Il Cavenago is approx. 45 minutes from Malpensa, about half of which was on an easily accessible autostrada. We...

My wife and I stayed there for three days this June 2013. The farm is set on a hill among vineyards, overseeing the Sesia valley and the town of Ghemme. The place is charming in its simplicity and authenticity. It is run by a very friendly family who make you immediately feel welcomed. Rooms are big and clean, with great...

Set among vineyards on a hillside with views of mountains from every side. Lots of space and chairs for relaxing with a glass of wine to enjoy....and even playground equipment for the kiddos as well as a few minature horses and a donkey. The entire complex was built in the 14th century. The family has done a wonderful job keeping...

My husband and I stayed 2 nights this past November, the last 2 nights in Piedmont before heading home. We chose Ghemme because it was not far from Milan Malpensa from which we were flying home on an early morning flight. Also, it is home to Cantalupo and very near Gattinara where the Travaglini winery sits. The agriturismo is run...

Such an amazing location in amongst the vines above the town of Ghemme, and the accommodation in this 'rustic' sprawling villa is superb. Big rooms, great breakfasts, lovely walks, amazing building. Staff are friendly and helpful (wish we spoke more Italian!) and the location to the best stuff in northern Piedmont is great. This is a super spot and a...

Myself and a couple with their 2 children aged 7 and 9 stayed here for 3 nights. We loved it from the first 5 minutes. The large stone farmhouse has been recently renovated - rooms with modern bathrooms, high ceilings, beautiful furniture, lovely big windows overlooking the valley and vineyard. The bed had soft lovely sheets, and was comfortable. The...
