What better way to spend an evening than to drink excellent white wine at a table outside this charming hotel looking at the cathedral and listening to live music (Fridays and Saturdays in the piazza in August). Fresh, stylish rooms with a very warm welcome and parking close to hand.

As other reviews say, the setting is spectacular, especially if your room has a view of the duomo. Obviously you pay a little more for this, but we thought it well worth it and a suitably atmospheric way to start two weeks holiday in Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio. Despite the setting, the hotel is not noisy. In fact, when you...

The hotel is excellently located in town next to the church. The staff were very hopefully and spoke basic English. The room was bright and clean The only downfall was the size of the shower, it is small.

Upon arrival in Orvieto, we walked from a car park in search of a way to get our cases to the hotel and were told to simply ignore the signs and drive right up to the front door to offload our luggage. What a luxury! Very clean, reasonable sized rooms , quiet, amazing location in the main square - who...

This hotel is definitely in an unbeatable location. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, slightly small for 3 of us but adequate for our 1 night stay. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. Situated right on the piazza with a private little courtyard to enjoy an afternoon vino or two while taking in the amazing view of...

If you want the best view of the magnificent Duomo in Orvieto, look no farther! I couldn't stop looking out the window! The staff here is great, the hotel is very clean and the location is not to be matched! Don't bother parking in one of the big ramps and dragging your luggage through town. You can drive right up...

Staff were a delight, room with a view of the Duomo was simple but lovely. The room was surprisingly quiet given that it was on the main piazza, very clean, breakfast was continental and great. Air conditioning, water temp, water pressure all great, has a lift. Just perfect. A wonderful start to our holiday.

We chose Orvieto as our over night stop on our way up to Genoa from Rome. What a pleasant surprise this lovely boutique hotel was! Located directly on the Piazza del Duomo with convenient parking in a lot just a short walk across the piazza. Parking is free at night, the attendant arrives in the booth at 8:00am for the...

As many others have point out, this hotel it right in the center square, mere meters from the Duomo. Which during the day gives you a wonderful view and during the evening a fantastic backdrop which is truly a sight to be seen. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are small but quaint and well decorated and the service...

We stayed here for one night. It is right there on the square near the Duomo. It was late when we checked in so they recommended a tasty restaurant and called to let them know we were coming to dine. We're glad they did because it got busy and we were seated immediately. Our room was very small but we...
