Wonderful pizzas served in the hotel restaurant/pizzeria. Very nice ambience on the Monday evening we visited with all the other diners being Italian. Did not stay in the hotel so cannot comment but the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and efficient, and spoke...More
This is a beautiful hotel, quiet, ample parking, wifi, with a separately run restaurant within the hotel.its not at Orvieto and in fact it's not even close if you plan to walk. It's at least 10-15mins by car. The neighbourhood looks ordinary suburban but it...More
On our way from Rome to Florence, We arrived to Villa Ciconia at night, couldn't see much around.
The place has a free parking at the hotel yard, which is useful since everybody arrives by car.
It also has Italian restaurant adjacent to it which...More

The hotel phoned a taxi to take us to the funicular station (across road from train station), taxi €15 euros one way, but worth it in our opinion, driver gave us his card to phone for return journey, he arrived promptly, was courteous & spoke excellent English.
I think you could get a bus from road near hotel or you could walk about - 25 mins or so l guess, busy traffic route though . Funicular train is €1.30 each way, including shuttle bus from Piazza Cahen to Piazza Duomo.
