We found that Hotel Filippeschi was the perfect location for our 3 days in the walled city of Orvieto. Located a block off the main square, we had easy access to terrific shopping, cultural points of interest and fine restaurants. The front desk coordinated our dinner reservations and helped with the challenge of parking our car below the wall. The...

We stayed in the hotel just for one night and it was a good choice after all. The place is nice and the hotel quality is reasonable, good value to money. The location is fantastic however, if you park a car on a hotel parking it is couple of minutes walk through escalators to get back (which is not a...

We stayed here for 3 nights. We drove and had trouble parking our car. Franchesa who was working the front desk took the time to walk 3 blocks and drove my car to a public lot which i would have never found on my own. She was caring and helpful throught my stay. The rooms were well maintained. The beds...

This is a small hotel. We had a nice big room with a sofa but other rooms were very small so check your room before you commit. We liked the light and the size of the room. The bed was hard and the AC didn't work very well. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Staff were very pleasant. It was...

Staff were very helpful with maps, with information on restaurants, and generally made our stay an enjoyable experience. Situated next to Piazza Republica , ideal location to...

We stayed in this hotel over a week ago on a trip to Orvieto. It is very central to the Square and bus stop. The rooms though small were well decorated and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was adequate. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Orvieto.

The Orvieto city shuttle bus from the funicular drops you off in Piazza Republica just two doors away from the hotel. (you don't have to buy a separate ticket, the funicular ticket covers this. Don't get on the bus going to the Duomo, thats a different part of town.) We had a room for three, and it was generously size...

Welcoming professional and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Great location walkable to all sights in Orvieto. Free WiFi. Bathroom lighting great, a plus for women putting on makeup. Room in front was quiet unless you're a hear the pin drop sleeper.

“I don't think the hotel has elevators, but I'm not sure of that. Our room was on the 1st floor (American 2nd floor) and we just walked up the stairs. Maybe their was an elevator somewhere but we didn't see it.”
