Within a few hundred metres from the skiing slopes, this hotel offers a traditional Italian experience in terms of bed and full board. The rooms are clean and renovated from the 2nd floor up (comfort room). The first floor has all the classic rooms that are cheaper and have not been refurbished. Our room was an end room and rather small, but this wasn't of much consequence since we were out most of the day. Most other rooms have communicating doors, good if you are family travellers. Mattresses are comfortably firm, as are the pillows. They provide a small flat screen TV with a few international channels, but it's not much. There is no mini bar. The bathrooms are clean and they provide standard soap, shampoo and shower gel but I would bring your own as they are not particularly good.
You'll be sitting down at breakfast and you'll receive the menu for the lunch and dinner, and decide among the options. Breakfast is plentiful but no hot savoury options available unless you specifically ask for eggs. We never stuck around for lunch but the dinners were very nice and the food was tasty! The staff are generally friendly and will accommodate any requests you have, if possible. The reception staff was particularly nice I found.
The SPA is surprisingly chic compared to the rest of the hotel decor. I highly recommend a visit! Another bonus is the hotel's shuttle bus service to the slopes, which saves you money on paying for parking. It was really handy!
All in all it's a good hotel, and if you are skiing on a budget, you can book in January and spend less money.

In charge of booking for 3 families so knew the pressure was on!!!
Tried to be positive but found this hotel to come up short on more than one account.
Paid the extra to upgrade our room but didn't feel it was worth it.
Tiny shower, couldn't move. Hard beds with plastic mattress covers, pillows like breeze blocks even when asked for extra because the ones we had too hard!
Breakfast Okish but evening meal poor. Decided to eat out each day.
However, found the majority of staff to be friendly and helpful . Won't be returning

Park Hotel Ovindoli looks like a great hotel......from outside. but actually it's not.
i mean, maybe it has been. The people at the concierge are very nice. The room were just normal. the thing i didnt like is that we have a doble room with a door that communicate with another room. we could hear everything. like we were all in the same room with the neighbour. The breakfast is good, normal. but you have to make the line to do the coffee from the machine. a long line....in the morning?? breakfast time is until 9.30, which i think its to soon. the perfect time is 10, at least. when you are finishing the coffee at 9.30, the waiters are already setting for lunch. and then also the check out is 10.00 am which i think is too early.
wi fii is include, but the line is not good. it fall all the time.
they should work more on those things. they have a good structure, and they should work on it.
at least, the hotel has a good position and is clean.

We stayed at the Park Hotel for a couple of days this summer. The price was cheap, so we weren't looking for a 5 star hotel for 75US. The hotel is definitely an older hotel. The lobby is rustic, but nice. The room we stayed in was quite old, with worn carpet and bare walls except for one picture. It was a small room, typical of European hotels. The bathroom looked more modern. The people at the front desk were nice. Included in our price was a very nice breakfast, which had meats, yogurt, juice, fruit, coffee, etc. The waitstaff in the restaurant were very helpful, even asking my wife if I wanted to come down to have breakfast before they put the buffet away.

They say that they have wifi, but from our room we could barely get a signal. We did get a good signal, however, in the lobby.

Bottom line, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay and you want a safe, clean room with no frills, this is the hotel for you.

People look for a good hotel...but they propose you a good spa !
Perhaps it was a very good hotel in the seventies, but now, the rooms should really be renovated.
Room carpets and furniture show old dirty stains, mattresses and metallic mesh are so old that the beds keep the body shapes, bath rooms are without windows, the main windows have no shutters , one single elevator is used by hotel guests shared with personnel chamber maids going up and down one small front desk area is to be shared among checking in people and checking out...but they strongly recommend their spa even if this facility was more important than the sleeping facility.

The restaurant area seem to be belonging to another hotel, everything works in the proper way, thanks to the efficient maitre's master eye, also piano bar player is a real expert and enjoyable show man.

I was in Ovindoli for a day out with the family and, seeing on the internet that they were organized for gluten-free, I called to make sure. We went and only after getting the drinks did they remember to tell us that the menu was fixed (€30 per person) and not à la carte... with a truly poor choice. In summary: 4 first courses, 2 second courses, speck and melon, water and coke, they had the courage to ask for €120....We were ready to leave paying only for the drinks but we were told that they would come to meet us... .of course...we paid €95....SHAMEFUL...If the structure is not able to satisfy customers outside the hotel, it shouldn't do so. Be careful in the dining room...as soon as we entered my son felt nauseous due to the strong smell of cooking....NEVER AGAIN, for goodness sake!!!!!!!

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend and it was relaxing. Very friendly reception staff, excellent room cleaning, impeccable dining room staff, very very good cuisine. My husband has lactose intolerance and was satisfied with everything from breakfast to dinner, and I can say that this is not to be taken for granted. We also used the spa and the massage and there too there was nothing to say, everything was perfect. We will gladly return, perhaps hoping to find snow in winter ☺️
Only note: the room was really hot.

Hotel in a strategic position, very close to the Ovindoli ski slopes. Unfortunately the structure appears to be a little dated and would need some renovation work. The room was small and too heated, the air inside was annoying and it was not a pleasant night's rest. Not very comfortable bed and poorly padded pillows.
Soundproofing is almost non-existent and, if you find other guests shouting and shouting in the corridors, your search for relaxation will certainly be defeated.
Breakfast sufficient for the sweet part, insufficient for the savory part.
I avoid commenting on the animation with the aperitif game.
Recommended if your sole aim is to go skiing. Large free parking.
