We stayed 4 days in Castello di San Sergio. The first place for b&b in Palinuro is well deserved based on the stunning views over the Cilento coast and country and the warm old Italian agri-aristocrat but certainly not too formal armosphere. Breakfast in the garden outside is very special and the adjecent little tower dependance we stayed in was...

Beautiful and authentic castle with a long family history and elegant interiors, located at the top of a hill overlooking Capo Palinuro. Quiet and green, very relaxing. Our room was clean, cosy and with a beautiful view from the window. Parking. Delicious breakfasts with home-made pastries, croissants and fresh fruits. The owners Vincenzo and his mother were very kind, friendly...

This place is amazing! Can be a bit hard to find but when you've found it, it is really worth the while. The hosts are really helpful and nice people. The building is awesome and the view is stunning. The breakfast is fantastic and you eat outside in the castle garden which is so great. We had a great time...

My boyfriend and I stayed at this wonderful place late in June and we’ll keep wonderful memories of that time forever. When we arrived it was love at first sight! We saw great pics on the website but when we were there “Il Castello di San Sergio” was more beautiful than we expected and exceptionally clean and organised. The quiet...

Castello di San Sergio is one a marvellous spot overviewing Palinuro and the sea. The castle is very impressive, our room simple but clean and efficient. The place would be very quiet if there are no cows with bells (1st night only) and no guests in the room above, who start at 6:00 am walking around with shoes (our room:...

4 of us ladies visited Il Castello Di San Sergio last week celebrating turning 40 and fell in love! At first, I thought we would be disappointed not staying right down on the beach, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Sylvia, the owner, couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating with wonderful recommendations of restaurants and things...

Il castello di San Sergio was a divine place to visit. We spent a week there in June and We had a relaxing time! Each morning we had breakfast on the patio under the trellis and gazed at the scenic view overlooking the sea. The owner’s, Silvia and Vincenzo, prepared delicious homemade bread, jams, and tarts for us. They were...

With 4 friends, my wife and I had planned a 5 week trip to Italy including a Mediterranean cruise. While the whole trip was a delight with all the accommodation booked excellent the only disapointment was Il Castello Di San Sergio. Despite booking 3 rooms over 6 months before travelling, when we tried to confirm the booking before we departed,...

We absolutely loved our stay in II Castello! For a honeymoon this was exactly what we imagined, staying in a beautiful place tucked away from all the hustle and bustle! We were lucky enough to be given the best room in the house which was elegant and had lots of character. Breakfast was lovely with home-made jam and when the...

Had a great four night stay at this B & B. It is approximately a 15 minute drive into Palinuro. Very curvy road down so maybe not best for people who suffer carsickness. Definately need a car to stay here and a gps to find it. Reasonably priced in the peak season. It was nice to get away from the...
