Incredible hotel in every way. A totally renovated convent on a hilltop overlooking Tuscany that on a clear day you can see all the way to Florence. 38 wonderful rooms with all the modern conveniences including an elevator. But with a taste of old world charm. Room comes with a sumptuous breakfast, the best we had in all of Italy.... More

As you drive up the mountain towards this hotel you can't help but think you are driving into the the middle of no where but when you reach the hotel and look out across the valley you realise it is worth it! We were given a 1st floor room which overlooked the town of Pistoia and the surrounding valley. It... More

Very helpful, friendly staff. Superb setting. Enjoyed the pool and the surrounding area - It had a relaxing atmosphere. Room small if staying more than one night.Air conditioning almost ineffective - resorted to cooler night air. Along with many other gusets we waited over one hour to be served our first course in the terrace restaurant.

Nice location, beautiful view, very friendly staff. However, the hotel is not easy to find, and is up a relatively steep hill. The room was rather dusty, and the AC mostly delivered air, not cool air. it is controlled from the reception desk, so it is not clear what the setting was

The hotel is beautifully located above the hills of Pistoia. It is in a relaxing and peaceful surounding, however this also means that you have to take the car to go anywhere. All staff at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are nothing special, but quite ok. Just the air con is working insufficiently, which is bad... More

This is a great resort if you have a car and want to visit Florence and Luca but be away from the city centres. It has a lovely large pool area and a very good restaurant with an excellent, very smart and friendly head waiter for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our room excellent value although a little small.... More

After a week of intense teaching and several hours of driving, this quiet place was just what I needed. I was warmly received and brought to my room, enjoyed a diner that was well made without a lot of false pretense, and took pleasure in seeing several young locals working in a place they obviously love and care for.
