This is a traditional, older style beach club hotel. Although very clean, it is showing some age, but overall a nice place to stay. We were here in the late spring and it was cold and a bit too far to walk to town without a parka, so we stayed in the direct neighborhood for dining. The internet Wi-Fi was...

We stayed here with Go Ahead Tours. The front desk staff was nice and then not so on a different shift when we were trying to use the internet to confirm flights. The internet was poor and the page for guests did not have an English language choice. I was stuck in a room on the first floor with a...

We spent a week at the Royal Sporting Hotel as part of a Road Scholar hiking tour in Cinque Terre. The hotel was fine, with fairly nice rooms and bathrooms. Be sure to book a room on the water view side and enjoy the balcony. Just a note that all balconies are connected so there isn't any privacy. A typical...

This hotel serves local travelers very well, in that most local travelers are not spending much time in their room. The rooms are modest, with no comfortable chair, for example. But, they are very clean and they work. The views from the seaside rooms are worth the extra expense. The food in the hotel restaurant is excellent. The wi-fi service...

I think this is very nice hotel with great location , very nice swimming pool, great view and a decent family room for 4. Room was a bit old but has a nice balcony with great sea view. Breakfast is average. I reccomend it for families with smaller kids.

You enter the hotel and faces with serious faces at the front desk. Where is the smile? Decoration is minimal, internet costs (only 5 Euro but...), and there is no air conditioning. If this is a 4 star hotel, I would hate to think what a 3 star hotel looks like. Not recommended !

The Royal Sporting has many fine qualities mixed in with a few not so good qualities. The bottom line here though is, that rooms with balconies are the best and you can on occasion see Cruise ships out in the Harbor. The restaurants, the gym, the pool are all lovely and the food is excellent. What isn't as excellent are...

We recently stayed two nights at the Royal Sporting Hotel during a small group tour of the Italian Riviera. The location of the hotel was ideal! We had a spacious, quiet room with a nice shower and large balcony facing the water. The hotel staff was very accommodating. From the hotel, it was a lovely 10-minute walk along the waterfront...

We stayed here on a late season walking holiday stop. Marketed as a 4* hotel, we were looking forward to the experience. Sadly it disappointed. Why? Because it is not what it purports to be. Yes, it has a (sea water) swimming pool and nice terrace, yes the staff in the restaurant try their best to give good service but,...

For sure one of the best in town, but offer is not so wide, mainly offering residence style accommodations. At our arrival receptionist was efficient but not kind at all. The bar has a good sea view bur is downgraded by using plastic tables and chairs and really few options for snacks. Breakfast is good, room big, but lacking a...
