I really have nothing bad to say about Il Canneto. The family running the place are extremely helpful, we felt very welcome and they helped us with orientation in Positano. I definitely liked being away from the crowds in the town. A bus runs right by the B&B which I would recommend, the walk is tiring and difficult at night...

I stayed here for 1 night for my birthday, The man on arrival was lovely & helpful, he helped us get the bus down to the main part of Positano as it is a 10 min bus trip but the buses stop right out side regularly, you can walk but its around a 25 min walk. The room was room...

We were greeted by Leo, the owner, he is a wonderful and genuine host. The location is a million dollar view and it's fantastic, and a bus stops right in front of the B&B. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is very generous, from sweet to savory. Positano is beautiful, and the B&B is not that far from...

We stayed one night-our room was basic, but clean. No fridge in our room, but one in our friend's room. The view from our private terrace and the breakfast room was beautiful. The shower in one bathroom was so cramped and tiny and the other bathroom only had a half bath. The breakfast was good-enough variety and friendly waitrons.

We love everything about Il Canneto - so much so that we will return in 2016! We feel like adopted family members such is the friendliness and welcome we receive. Leo and Fulvio are brothers and run front of house and they will help make your holiday memorable. The rooms are clean and have amazing views. The breakfasts are excellent...

This hotel is excellent value for money. Our sea-view room was very large, clean, with a big bathroom. The view from the balcony is stunning. The local bus stops right outside the hotel, and takes you to Positano in about 15 minutes. Alternatively you can walk down in about 20-25 mins, partly along the road, which isn't a problem, although...

This is a friendly and very clean B&B with amazing views of Positano. Our room had a private balcony with stunning views of the town below. There are a number of steps leading from the entrance to the rooms but this is something you'll need to get used to if you visit the Amalfi coast! On the plus side Rodrigo...

This family run B&B was simple Italian accommodation. Fantastic value & very clean. The staff were always willing to help with any requirement or advise. The position at the top of the hill is a distance to walk but the bus pulls up at the front door. We walked off all the pasta & pizza! Breakfast is a simple buffet...

We stayed here for 5 nights in early October and had a great stay. Firstly the bus stop out the front is very handy, for both the regional SITA bus and also the internal Positano bus. Secondly, the service was exceptional, the staff even helped us to book train tickets on their own computer. On top of all this the...

My wife and I visited Positano for the first time and fell in love with it instantly. A big part of that was because of our stay at Pensione Il Canneto. Located at the upper part of Positano, right in the center of the two cliffs, we had an amazing view at the Mediterranean Sea. The staff is super friendly...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The residence is located by the main road of Positano, probably at the most peaceful part of Amalfitanian Coast. Being close to the canyon and to the stream "la Cascata" brings more freshness to the rich vegetation of this oasis. It is easy to reach, avoiding the busy road to the centre of Positano and easy to park using our quests parking. The place is managed by the family and one can appreciate it seeing beautifully arranged garden and the most important is our cuisine. ... more   less
