What an amazing place! We stayed for 5 nights in May and the hotel was perfect in every way. The garden and grounds are especially gorgeous with the sweet smell of blooming flowers, fruit trees and a wonderful vegetable garden. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed linens of high quality and the view onto the garden so...

We loved Palazzo Murat for many reasons; first despite losing a day of our honeymoon stay because of travel delays, they upgraded us to a beautiful Suite with an awesome balcony overlooking the Sea and the Hillside. More importantly the entire staff provided us with exceptional service, from the hotel front desk who went above and beyond with help tracking...

Beautiful hotel situated conveniently in Positano to the ferry docks, several great shops, and some delicious restaurants. Service, from the porters when you arrive to checkout, is very thorough and friendly. Front dest staff was overly accommodating with recommendations, directions, etc. Antonio is fast with the drinks and knows how to make them. Breakfast is an average European buffet with...

The location is in the centre of Positano but yet very quiet, because the hotel building is not facing the street, separated by its garden. The hotel has a lot of character and has cozy feeling. The view from the balcony was just amazing. A small but nice swimming pool in the centre of Positano is another treat. Car park...

Stayed with 2 kids during April, a bit chilly for the pool but rooms are heated, and breakfast was served outdoor when possible. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Exquisite service and accommodation. View to sea is obstructed by the church but location is superb. Access to beach, restaurants , concierge very helpfull and service is outstanding. After sampling all top notch...

Location-10 Service -10 Accommodation-10 Breakfast-10 This is the best by all means , expansive but worth every penny. If you appreciate pure, sophisticated, classic surrounding look no more We stayed at the hotel in rooms 43,44 grand comfortable with a living room and full kitchenette. Plenty of storage and lavish bath in 43. A view to the water is somewhat tricky...

My daughter and I loved our stay at Palazzo Murat. This was a treat celebrating my daughters graduation. While you pay a little more for accommodations, you get what you pay for. The included breakfast was wonderful, with great service and a large variety of foods. We had a garden view room in the new part which felt very private...

This review is long overdue as my husband and I stayed here last June (2013). However, we had such a lovely stay that I wanted to make sure I shared with others. As others have stated, it's a beautiful haven in a central Positano location that allows you to walk around town and down to the beach. The room we...

Getting there may difficult, particularly over Easter weekend, but once inside it is a tranquil haven of old world charm and beautiful plants. The garden restaurant serves great food and the staff go out of their way to please. We arrived late on Easter Sunday night and were welcomed with big smiles, homely pasta dishes and great Italian wines. Weather...
