This is a gem of a hotel in a gem of a place. The fabulous location is a short walk from the pedestrian-only area of Positano, and all the rooms have views of the Gulf of Salerno and surrounding steep mountains, with this small city...More
What a beautiful little place to stay in - we did not want to leave. This was our second hotel stay on our Amalfi Coast 5 day tour and it was certainly the best. Not the most luxurious we stayed in, but certainly deserving of...More

Yes, you will be able to walk to the hotel. The hotel is way up on the hill--you can walk the windy streets or find the steps that wind their way up. An option is to have the hotel send down people (they are not associated with hotel) to bring your suitcases bags up to the hotel so that you can walk more easily (steps not great for rolling suitcases!), pay for that, have your suitcases meet you there. I have to say I was a bit nervous until we actually got the bags, some time after we were checked in. But all was well and very typically what folks do when they are checking in and out. It's not a quick walk, but a cool one and not a problem if you like to walk in general. I'm so jealous that you're going! I would go back in a minute!!
