We had an incredible time in Positano. We had been traveling for several weeks in Europe and needed to find lodging that was reasonably priced for our family. Hotel Pupetto fit the bill for us. It off the beaten path (Be sure to coordinate pick up of yourself and your luggage IN ADVANCE with the hotel. We did not arrange...

We arrived by hydrofoil after spending 4 days on sunny Capri and Anacapri but this particular day, 27 April was rainy, stormy and trippy! This hideaway along the sea was a 7 minute walk from the harbor along a cobblestone cliff path, and that was with my 45 pound backpack on and filled with Italian limone products, Limoncello, Marvis toothpaste,...

Any traveler looking to relax in an absolutely gorgeous setting, far enough away from the maddening crowds but still within walking distance of activities, would be well advised to find a room in this gem of a hotel. Located just a short walk (along a gorgeous ocean hugging stone path) away from Positano town center, and located just a few...

The place is awesomely located by Fornillo beach, making it almost exclusive for Pupettos guests, and it is amazing! They have a shortcut only 3 min walk to the city centre, that makes it basically close to everything in Positano! Very friendly staff. The only bad thing about the hotel is the distance from the parking lot: 300 VERY steep...

We came to this hotel for four days for our honeymoon in September. It was a great experience, the staff and location were incredible! Note that if you call ahead and tell the hotel what ferry you are on, they will meet you at the dock and cart your bags back to the hotel...same when you leave! Don't be put...

This hotel is located on a separate beach just to the north of the main beach area of Positano. Because of this it has a "private" aspect to it. We enjoyed not being right in heart of the tourist "crush" in Positano but it is an easy walk to and from there. There are several ways to access the hotel...

Nowhere is it mentioned that their second elevator is not working (for several years apparently) and you will have to walk down about 200 steps to the beachfront property (You will also have to walk back up the stairs to get to your car). The good news is there is a more scenic and less strenuous path into town. The...

This is a somewhat tired beachfront hotel at the second beach in Positano. Service was good and the beach view room was acceptable. location is somewhat isolated and with the elevator not working it is quite difficult to access the location with your luggage. Best approach is from the main beach along a paved hillside path.

We were looking for a hotel on the beach and walking distance to town. We found it. We were steps to the beach and could walk right into town. They even had a porter meet up at the top of the mountain to carry out luggage down free of charge. Though They are 200 steps down so it is not...

There are so many reasons, but a quick breakdown is: easy to get to, away from the crowds, spacious rooms, on the beach, has it's own great restaurant, beachfront cafe, two more cafes on the beach and the service is excellent~ There are two ways to get there. The best is to have a driver drop you (see my review...
