Fantastic stay at Hotel Marincanto! Staff could not be more helpful, especially Gianni the pool guy. We had an amazing stay and would love to stay again, the views are incredible. However the near 300 steps back to the hotel after a night out are...More
This hotel is quite simply very overpriced. The rooms are very basic. Do not expect to get the quality of room that you have paid for. The sun beds are very cheap and uncomfortable and if you want to lie on some concrete by the...More
Truly, the best hotel we have ever stayed in!
We chose Marincanto as our wedding day hotel and stayed for 4 nights- pure magic!
It wasn’t the best hotel because of how it’s perfectly situated on the top right hand corner of Positano, or because...More

This is a gorgeous hotel in a perfect location with very nice service.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was beautiful but the in-room jacuzzi turned out to be not-so-great because it made the room extremely humid.

It was like 10 euros a bag. Totally worth it. I would check with the hotel on getting that service for the way up. I also saw taxi type service that we should have used but didn’t realize it was so far. Rolling suitcases might be easier. We had a heavy duffle. I still suggest getting a porter

Hello - sorry for the delay. Yes, we gave our credit card details. We also spoke with them on the phone and they made some arrangements for some special requests for us as it was our honeymoon. It does seem a little old-fashioned to pay this way, but we didn't have any problems. They speak English pretty well, so if you prefer, maybe phone them with your credit card details rather than in an email?
They are so friendly, I am sure they will help you.
