Positano, and the entire Amalfi Coast for that matter, even for the most jaded traveler, is a surreal seeming destination, a chance to live out a real life fantasy .The view from our balcony at the Palazzo Talamo-overlooking the white washed buildings the jagged cliffs and the blue Mediterranean.was beyond stunning. It makes all the excellent features of the hotel...

We spent four nights at the Palazzo Talamo and enjoyed every minute. I'm not sure the exact difference between a hotel and a B&B, but Talamo has no pool, no restaurant and only room service for beverages. What it does have is good sized spotlessly clean comfortable rooms with breathtaking views of the Positano shore and some of the best...

Palazzo talamo was a dream! In the most perfect location, it was surrounded by restaurants either side. You were away from the hustle bustle of the main area, but close enough to do the walk down to the beach. There were stairs close by taking to straight down to the bottom of the island, or it was a beautiful 15...

Great location 350 steps down to the beach public car parking only 5 minute walk and many restaurants near by and most importantly were. The helpful reception staff who made our stay feel special they went out of there way to phone ferry company's for us and even phoned our next hotel to organise a permit to enter the historical...

This small, quaint, family-run hotel is spectacular. The rooms are not large, but are sufficient enough to house the two of us comfortably, but the must-see in the balcony with the most incredible views. Talamo is perched about halfway up the hill, not too far, but far enough to know you've walked a few steps during the day (probably 5...

We enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Talamo, primarily for the warm welcome we received every day by this welcoming Italian family. We were greeted with a generous breakfast (made by the mother of the family) with a wide assortment of homemade Italian pastries and foods, canned and fresh fruit, yogurt, deli meats, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, juice, coffee and tea. The...

Nestled into the cliffs of Positano about halfway up the hill this small family hotel feels truly Italian. Rooms are snug but each has a balcony and the views are vast and outdoor living space is a bonus. Our room was lemon yellow with local tile floors symbolic of the regional specialties. Several adjacent restaurants offered great dinners il Capitan...

Generally a perfect stay at the Palazzo Talamo. Check in was easy and our room was ready earlier that expected which is always a nice surprise. The room was clean with a lovely balcony looking over the bay. Enough space for us to have our 2 big suitcases open and a wardrobe if your staying for longer (we stayed for...

Lovely family run hotel overlooking the beautiful town of Positano, really amazing location with breathtaking views and our room was lovely big and light with a gorgeous bathroom and balcony. Fantastic inspiration for an artist. The rooms were spacious and the shower was good and even a seat to sit down on. The staff were welcoming and friendly and packed...

Situated up, directly across from D'Vincenzo restaurant and between El Capitan and Cafe Positano, the room terraces provide breathtaking views of the sea below. A nice breakfast is served in their sun room. Our room #11 had beautiful Vietri tiles and was very clean. The bed was comfortable & good water pressure. The entire hotel is very clean. We stayed here...
