Loved staying at this campsite for 3 nights. Fantastic little site, lots of shade and really clean facilities, there is always a man walking around cleaning them. Really nice little bar area, the staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel really welcome. Would definitely recommend, and would return.

We booked this campsite as we were intrigued by two idea of staying in a crater...and it didn't disappoint. Friendly staff (especially in the bar/cafe area), very nice and clean facilities and additional shade for tents provided by an extra canopy. The shop is a tad prices. It the bar is very reasonable (prossecco for €2.50!) The volcanic park is... More

We arrived very late, but the staff was really friendly and allowed us in. Nice camping ground with lots of shady places under the trees. Good and clean toilets, showers,... and free electricity. You are actually inside the crater of an extinct vulcano and a visit to the steaming 'fumaroles' is well worth it. Visiting is free of you stay... More

Stayed at the Solfatara field trip for a university field trip. Lodges were adequately equipped with beds, shower room/toilet, and some with kitchens (hob oven and a fridge). Balcony seating was very welcomed in the evening! The lodges were bare in terms of facilities, but this was to be expected and we didn't need much more, as most evenings we... More

First, it's a bit difficult to find since you enter the ample campsite through the same entrance as for the Campi Flegrei Solfatara crater and with a big campervan you have to watch your angles..., but once inside you get a very warm welcome by one of the young guys who speak English very well and know all the necessary... Very interesting campground, indeed. The showers and toilets were okay, not the best I’ve had at campground, but not the worst either. The shop and café were good, perhaps a bit expensive, but that’s to be expected at a place like this. A few annoyances - (1 Very loud French campers next to us. (2 Smelled terrible of sulfur. (Which... More

We enjoyed our stay at the campsite. The staff is very hospitable. Toilets and showers are ok. You can visit the volcano from the campsite, which is really nice! We did not like Pozzuoli ourselves, because it is very busy, but you don't notice that on the campsite. Pozzuoli is a nice central place though to visit many interesting sites,... More

This is one of the most fun places i've stayed. It is so simple and down to the ground. There is no luxury there, but the place, at night, is so magnificent, you do forget that you want more. I would higly reomend this over, trip to the biggest volcano (vesuvius) you can get there. This is the place, the... More

Camping with a group of students experiencing the crater and volcanic activities. Great to see it illuminated in the night. Bungalows for drivers and accompaning staff. Friendly and very flexible service regarding breakfast for the group. We'll come back.

We really enjoyed this camp site, which is situated within the crater of the Solfatara Volcano. Campers get to visit the attraction for free which means you get to see it when it is beautifully lit up in the evening!! The Solfatara Volcano is amazing albeit a bit smelly, as you can imagine, but it never got too bad in... More
