Founded toward the end of 1800, Hotel Giardino welcomes you with its genuinely cozy atmosphere, its warm hospitality and its friendly and helpful staff. A Customer review: 'Hotel Giardino is the center's most modern hotel, with good sized rooms for the price and location, quality built-in furniture and large, firm beds. Another plus is the Risaliti family who run it: an extremely friendly bunch who have kept their little hotel in great shape since the 1930s'. Wonderful location, as the Hotel is placed at the corner of Duomo Square (with 12th century St.Stephen Cathedral with frescoes of Filippo and Filippino Lippi), in the historical center of Prato (with medieval walls and buildings), full of art, museums, historical buildings, shops, as well as fine/traditional Tuscan restaurants. Moreover, it is 5 minutes walk from the Monash Centre and about 3 km from the business area of Macrolotto. The city and its surrounding area offer interesting and prestigious artistic itineraries, nature and gastronomy. An ideal base for exploring the Tuscany region.

This nice hotel is located in the historical centre of Prato, a few minutes walk from the famous cathedral with beautiful frescos and other historical places. Moreover it is ten minuets a less walking from the train station. The host was very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was nice, the breakfast and WI-Fi good. Everything is nearby - shops, restaurants, musea. The rooms are of different size, we had a very spacious on with renovated and big bathroom. If you are a light sleeper inform hotel management beforehand, as some rooms have windows on the street with traffic. The first day there were construction works on the street, rather noisy. However it says nothing about the hotel itself. The owner took the trouble to go to the workers and ask when they stop working.

Located right off of the Piazza del Duomo it couldn't be more centrally located. We managed to park right next to the hotel, with a parking pass provided. Family-operated. Not a luxury hotel, but quite comfortable. AC, TV, nice enough bathroom. Prato was a great place to spend a couple of days.

Like a lot of hotels in italy this just ticks the box if you just stopping overnight on a business visit , the place itself is dated and could do with a refurbishment , it’s good value average quality staff are fine but it’s nothing special apart of the brilliant location .

My sister and I went to Prato to visit our younger sister who is studying abroad. The Hotel Giardino is family owned and managed and I absolutely loved it. Our room had a nice view of the street and Piazza Duomo, breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious, and there were gluten free options! Everyone who worked there was kind and wanted to make sure that we were well taken care of. I can't wait to go back and I recommend that if you happen to visit Prato, stay at Hotel Giardino.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Hotel Giordano. Nice friendly staff, free internet, clean good-sized room, very good breakfast. The location is optimal, next to Prato's Duomo and very close to railway station.
