I could go on all day about the attention, expertise and patience! Each face in the place was welcoming, helpful and kind. I loved the peach tea and Nicola recognized this; when he went to the market, he bought me a box! Francesca called Milan for me and was put on hold; she was very patient. Julia helped us make... Enjoyed our stay. The person at reception was friendly and very helpful! Our room was cute and clean. Breakfast buffet and coffee service were very nice with tables set with table cloths and real dishes and silverware. Coffee was made to order. Will definitely return when in Reggio Emilia.

The rooms are pretty much standard business class hotel standards, the breakfast as really good choices and good coffee, the location is easily reached on foot from the station and centre, but what made it for me were the friendly staff who were wonderful

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel overnight (during the week) recently. I had a great double bed room with a great shower and a flat TV, excellent wifi. It is located on Via Emilia which is the main shopping street at the edge of the historical town so within walking distance to all the historical sites of... More

Just got back from a week at the Albergo Morandi where I stayed to attend a study week for early years educators. The hotel was lovely, clean and quirky with its various chandeliers. The staff were very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much to ask. Breakfast was a lovely continental selection with something for everyones tastes. They even... More

I recently spent one night at Albergo Morandi while in Reggio Emilia on business. My car navigator had difficulty in finding this destination, however, with persistence and squeezing down narrow Italian roads, I found the hotel. Not knowing where the hotel's garage was located, I parked on the main street briefly to inquire. The receptionist was most helpful and welcoming.... More

Having just returned from a week long stay at the Albergo Mornadi, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the city. I stayed there whilst on a study week to the Pre-schools, the hotel was in a central location to the Loris Malaguzzi centre and the town centre. The hotel was really clean, and the staff were... Albergo Morandi, a nice way to say Hotel Morandi, is the quintesential Italian business hotel, run by generations of families. They have years of experience to get things right. They have owned the business and building for years so the rares are low, not because it is a cheap hotel, but because they can afford to make enough money, and... More

the Albergo Morandi is situated at walking distance from Reggio Emilia historical center. from outside it doesn't look anything special even though its recently been redecorated. The room we were given , a superior (lablu) was nicely decorated with wooden furniture and a very comfortable bed. The room itself is a bit tiny but for a couple of nights stay... More
