Having a clear out of holiday stuff gathered over the years, found notes I had written on our 10 day stay at this lovely hotel in June 2002! (Don’t think trip advisor was going then?) It was our first trip to Italy (since then we have had fabulous Italian holidays almost every year since- including Lake Maggiore, Lake Como, all over Tuscany, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia). Our last Italian holiday was last year in Cinque Terre region. This hotel was wonderful, family run. Spotlessly clean. Delicious fresh food including produce from the family garden. We ate the most delicious fish- a cross between salmon and trout. Our bar man each evening was a young man with a pony tail, Nico. Always remembered our drinks order and room number, served with a smile and a dish of crisps or cheesy biscuits. Very happy memories of a wonderful holiday. I wonder if a future generation of the same family are still involved? Please note, I have had to say our stay was June 2020 (but actually it was June2002!)…
had a fantastic holiday first time we travelled to europe by coach long journey but time went quick do too great drivers and good company on coach plenty of stops hotel lovely great meals just didnt want it end looking forward too our next trip
i am writing this review just to say thanks for everything you are doing for us and others have had never had experienced such hospitality anywhere > been staying here for so many years and never thought of going anywhere else > very important thing to mention is the transport as we all know not too many taxis are available in this city you always have your friend to pick us up whenever in need and this time we are really thankful for arranging for us > Kevin as usual at its best
Excellent holiday with national holidays . It was a very pleasant clean hotel with friendly staff . The rooms we booked were basic but had a small balcony. The food was very nice and served by friendly staff who were keen to solve any issues. The pool area was very nice but as it was late October, not very warm so we declined from swimming. The owner,a keen cyclist , had the most amazing cycle museum in his very large garage. We found this very interesting. My only negative comment would be that the drinks allowance we had were not available in the resaurant. We certainly did not use all our allowances but did buy a few glasses of wine with our meal. This hotel is one of the best we have been too with national holidays. Thanks to the brilliant drivers too who made our week a pleasant experience.…
This is a lovely family run hotel which is very nice. Our room was the first floor and was very modern. I especially liked the disco light in the shower. Our room also had an balcony looking over the pool. Hotel facilities are very nice too and dinner every evening was lovely. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and happy to help you with whatever you need. We were on a 9 day national holiday to the Italian Lakes.
