We spent two nights here whilst cycling the Claudia Augusto. The Casa del Pittore really stands out from all of the places we stayed at over the three weeks in Italy. First, the staff are so helpful and friendly - they really do go to a lot of trouble to make things work for their guests - but in a very unobtrusive way. Second, the hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and the rooms and common rooms are tastefully designed with original artworks and artefacts. It feels like a lot of care has gone into making a tasteful and comfortable setting. For cyclists, yes, it's a bit of a climb up the hill, but it is close to the pista cicabile and the hotel has an excellent secure space for bicycles. The hotel is also close to some really good woodland walking. We took a day off from cycling and did a great route that started up the road from the hotel. The staff were really helpful in providing us with advice and a photocopy of a map - and drying our clothes when we returned home soaked after getting caught in the rain. Really well-designed and maintained B&B within easy walking distance for the Rovereto train station and old city. Great base camp for exploring the Lake Garda and Verona area. Excellent breakfast (cold) with fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade pastries. Garage parking included in the rate as well.

Our three night stay was part of our honeymoon. You could feel your soul start relaxing when you arrive. Quiet spaces, green spaces, the view! Simple gorgeous. Lovely and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast. We had a newer suite with a kitchen which allows us to enjoy lunches and dinners with the simple homemade tastes of the region. A true gem! It can’t get any better.

We stayed in Rovereto because it‘s the crypto-valley of Italy. Case del Pittore is up the hill with a nice view but still very close to the city center. The breakfast ist just perfekt, fresh pressed juice, traditional cheese and ham, fresh fruits... The people are very nice!!!! The only thing they have to fix till our next visit, accept bitcoin :-).

Location on the hillside is fantastic. Family run friendly place with delicious breakfast. On site safe garage is available. All facilities for a relaxing stay are given including sun beds, jacuzzi and sauna. City center is just a 10 minutes direct walk.
