Detailed Reviews
We spent a lovely week at Agriturismo Sabaudia. The rooms are pleasant and clean. The food is very tasty and abundant. There are always fresh homemade cakes for breakfast. The evening meal includes, two pasta courses, a second dish, a dessert, water, wine, coffee and liquor. It's a great place to stay if you want to reach the many places that deserve a visit in the whereabouts. The host is helpful with directions and suggestions. The week was so pleasant, it went by too quickly!

Guido and his staff were amazing for two weeks & we loved every minute of our holiday. Podere 1470 is a beautiful retreat in Italy with shady groves, beautiful swimming pool and lovely en-suite bedrooms that were kept clean and fresh daily. The food was fantastic and every day was a delight of Italian cuisine at its best. Thank you so much for making us so welcome, for your friendly helpful manner and the special attention you gave to all our party. We highly recommend a visit here to everyone.

We spent with some friends a vacation in the farmhouse Sabaudia Podere 1470 .
The farmhouse is in a strategic and quite place , 10 km from the seaside and less than 20 minutes to Sabaudia .
You can easily reach also Sperlonga ( very nice ! ) , Gaeta and the beautiful islands of Ponza and Palmarola .
Guido Sedita ( the owner) did arrange for us the bicycles and we could enjoy the fantastic countryside of Circeo park ( natural reserve) and Agropontino area , he also arranged the boat for the islands ! The food for breakfast and especially dinner are fantastic !! All the ingredients are genuine and the past is homemade ! In the farmhouse there is also a very large swimming pool and you can enjoy swimming when back from a full day of visits !
If you live in Rome area or you will visit it you cannot miss spending at least few days in the park of Circeo and in the farmhouse of Guido !
Guido and all his family and the staff are very nice , you feel at home , and thanks for the very good and relaxing vacation !

We had a really lovely weekend - beautiful place, excellent food, very welcoming hosts. Pool is great, rooms nice and clean, and peaceful (I slept very well). Also a great base from which to visit Montecassino, Fossanova and more. Thanks so much!

It’s such a nice place to be and everything has been taken care of. The rooms are clean and tidy, great food (menu changes every night) and the pool is lovely in the afternoon as well as in the morning. Dinner is altogether and it makes for a friendly and cheerful environment. The owners Anna and Guido and all the staff are kind and dedicated. Well, this is a very great location for a really nice holiday.

A homely and very pleasant agriturismo set in a quiet rural area on the outskirts of Sabaudia. It is ideally situated for trips to the beach or to Rome or Napoli - although it is best to drive to nearby Latina Scalo and catch the train to these latter two places. Guido and Anna Maria are very welcoming hosts and the whole experience is very relaxed. The food provided is wholesome with especially nice pasta dishes accompanied by Guido's generous offering of local wines. Facilities are of an excellent standard and the swimming pool is a very attractive feature. Value for money is extremely good and there is no hesitation in recommending a stay at Agriturismo Sabaudia.

Rooms are medium/small, (very clean with daily service) and each front porch is conducive to meeting your neighbors. One of the best things about staying in an Agriturismo is that you may very well like the other residents. The pool is big enough to swim laps (covered every night so warmer than usual), and the dinners are very good (meal is included in the daily rate.) Standard menu seems to include TWO pasta courses before a secundi and then dessert. Both nights we ate here our neighbors at the table ate seconds on the first pasta dish, and then went on to finish the other courses.
The Agriturismo is a very easy drive to the small town of Sabaudia, its nearby beaches and national parks. Because the area was once swamps, there are plenty of mosquitoes at dusk . During the day, I was swatting at flies; and the chef came out and offered me some bug spray.
Our fellow residents were from Germany and Italy. The first night the couples at our table spoke some English; the second night, everybody was pleasant, but we did not converse. We enjoyed our experience for several reasons: the room and dinner were a very good value, we were off the beaten bath, we liked the dinner and the experience, we enjoyed meeting the hosts and the other guests.
The breakfast was the most minimal we've had in all of Italy-- just a cake (very fresh and delicious) and some toast with jam and butter plus coffee with milk. I wonder if this is the true Italian breakfast. The host speaks English and is helpful with directions around the locale, his wife does not speak English, but I cannot imagine a more pleasant and cheerful soul.

We chose Agriturismo Sabaudia as a base to visit Rome (10 mins to train station and 45 mins by train to Rome Termini) and to tour an area of Italy not previously visited. Agriturismo Sabaudia filled our needs admirably and also provided us with a comfortable base where we could spend a lazy day by the pool or reading in a shady hammock.
The highlight of the day was dinner at communal tables ending with one of Guido's excellent liqueurs.
