We have stayed in the Stella Alpina on a few occasions it never fails always a warm welcome nice cosy rooms and nice bar for a couple after a day on the slopes, food is always well prepared and varied, Caroline even went out of her way when our very fussy son didn't want anything on the menu and arranged... I have reviewed the Stella Alpina previously on Tripadvisor. This review confirms that it stays as good as ever every time we go and if you are thinking of going to Sauze, I thoroughly recommend that you consider the Stella Alpina. The perfect location for first chair skiers as you are literally a roads width away from the hill. The hotel itself is what you'd expect for a skiing holiday nice and cosy with a chalet like feel to it. Breakfast was real good each morning although with dinner we gave it a miss after one night and ate out which... More

My husband and I stayed here in March 2016, I skied and John chilled out. Everyday we had excellent food, breakfast and dinner, with varying menus and a good choice of wine. Caroline and her team went out of their way to help and accomodate us, from the minute I emailed her, six months prior, until she organised the shuttle... More

This year stayed in the apartment on the top floor of main building, excellent space for the 6 of us comfortable for 8, although Caroline said she prefers not to Max it out I would be happy with 8 and so would my fellow travelers. Compared to most hotels, the Stella has very very ample bedrooms throughout the main building... More

As returning guests to the Stella Alpina we knew exactly what to expect: a warm welcome from the owner, Caroline, excellent food and easy access to the slopes. The dining room overlooks the front slope and in the evenings especially there is a real Italian feel here, with animated conversations and friendly, efficient service creating a convivial atmosphere.
