We stayed in La Terrazza for 6 nights in January 2017, it is a cheap and cheerful hotel in need of Modernizing but the price we paid reflected this so we knew what to expect. If all you want to do is ski, eat your meals and have a place to crash then this is a perfect place. The Hilton...

Excellent location!! Close to the ski slopes, ski lifts, ski hire shops, busses, bars and the centre of town! Very friendly, professional and helpful staff. Pasquale who I believe was the General Manager was very attentive, professional and worked hard with all the staff to keep dinner service organised. The food was good quality, simple Italian food, anti pasti, primi,...

Extremely impressed with the service at the Terrazza, Pasquale and the restaurant girls are extremely friendly and will do anything for you. Having read previous reviews about the quality of the food, we were pleasantly surprised, not sure what those people were expecting for a 3 star hotel! It was all very good, especially the pasta dishes and deserts. Pasquale's...

For those that have not been to Sauze d'Oulx before the hotel location needs a bit of explaining, Sauze d'Oulx is a town on the side of a mountain, therefore it means that the roads are on incline with hotels situated at various points on the side of the mountain. The Hotel Terrazza is approximately 100 yards up hill from...

It is not very often that one feels compelled to write a review as a warning to fellow travelers. This is not just a negative review; it is the description of an experience that was beyond belief. A group of 50 people that had to bear four days of noise, lack of hygiene, and awful food. Let me start by...

Just back from a new year ski break with my partner and grown up kids. I had read previous reviews and wasn't expecting too much and on arrival wasn't surprised to find a quite tired looking dated reception and bar area. However as they say "don't judge a book by its cover" Beds were really comfy, showers were hot ,...

We had a great holiday. The hotel is 40/50 meters from the lift which is brilliant. La Terrezza is a family run hotel and very friendly. Barbara Merlin (the owner) was very welcoming and Pasquale (restaurant manager) was great with the guests and kids and funny with it. His team were attentive and there was always plenty of food (although some...

The hotel has a tired interior as mentioned in an earlier review, there was bare plaster showing, shower door was broken, heating had to be turned on as it was cold...Then the food, well, there was a group of 30 school kids, and I wouldn't say the food was fit for them! The soup was from a tin, the pasta...

I stayed for two nights to bridge a gap... compared to the other hotel I stayed at in Sauze, I feel as though I probably paid way too much. 190 EUR for 3 per night incl breakfast. We arrived and the hotel was full with a school group, who were likely paying 1/3 of what we were paying. They were...
