Positives: Hotel is in a great location, you can ski from the back of the hotel to the lift (snow permitting). Lovely Hot tub and sauna. Food was good quality and the afternoon cakes and soup were delicious. Ski area excellent and pistes quiet except for the weekend. The local lift was the least busy of the 3 lifts (and... More

I will start by saying that we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Sauze d'Oulx and the concept of a chalet style hotel where you could meet up with like minded people for a chat in the bar was great, but having been on a number of Neilson summer holidays we were disappointed in the level of service in the hotel.... From start to finish this was one of the most organised holidays I've been on from the airport to collecting our skis and boots everything was hassle free and done with a friendly smile . The Neilson Team at the hotel were fantastic friendly hard working and very helpful , The food was excellent never had a bad meal, chalet... More

The hotel is run by Neilson staff and although one or two of them did seem to be a bit disinterested, the others were friendly and helpful. The manager is very responsive and deals immediately with any problems. Hotel is extremely hot all the time but seems worse at night. We found the food to be quite good and were... More

Our first trip to Italy. A little concerned by some of the previous reviews of Edelweiss. No need to have been concerned. The hotel was spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned daily, towels replaced daily. We stayed in the family room, good size, the Jacuzzi bath a bonus. Plenty of choice of good foods. The team at the Edelweiss ensure guests are... More

We stayed at the Edelweiss in the second week of March and were lucky enough to arrive to Fresh snow and blue skies! The staff, right from the outset, were friendly and extremely helpful assisting us with our luggage and ensuring we settled into our rooms. The hotel location is fantastic for ski-in ski-out and, despite the hill into Sauze... More

We stayed at the Edelweiss hotel last week, as part of a group of 10. We had a mixed party between my family with 2 children (under 5), a married couple, a nearly married couple and 2 brothers. Hotel: The hotel was clean, warm and quiet, it's quite small compared to other places we've stayed but this meant there was... More

We travelled with Neilson as a couple, but the chalet-style of the hotel was very sociable and it was easy to meet other people to hang out with on and off the slopes. We can't fault the food; good size portions, enough variety and always tasty (tea and cake in the afternoon was a great bonus!) and the rooms were... More

Short transfer, on arrival rooms weren't ready so had to wait. Friendly staff throughout the stay apart from One member who seems likes it's a chore to answer any questions( Sarah ). Negatives are:- no salt n pepper on the tables, in fact a whole 50 guests were sharing a couple and having to get up throughout dinner to ask.... More

Enjoyable stay in a friendly atmosphere. Now under the ownership of Neilson holidays it has maintained a family feel to the hotel. When snow condition right can ski out and in. Great mountain views. Rooms a little small and bathrooms need a little TLC. Broken tiles and the small shower door was a bit of a squeeze!! Would have liked... More
