I recommend it. First of all for the kitchen, very well cared for and with an extremely intelligent proposal. Every evening you can choose between traditional dishes revisited or comfort yourself with traditional South Tyrolean foods. I would like to point out that in each dish there are often elements with different cooking and processing, combined with balance. Behind every dish is a job done with passion. Bravi. Even at breakfast nothing is missing (eggs in all ways prepared by the kitchen included).
The environment is really nice. It combines elegance and modernity. The objects displayed in the corridors and halls give the feeling of visiting a local museum. Always in total sobriety.
The room was quiet and always well cleaned like the rest of the rooms. The decor of the room a bit 'dated and with some signs.
We were able to easily choose additional pillows with the desired hardness.
Ski storage is well accessible and adequate.
The pool is nice, shame the absence of the jacuzzi. The relaxation area around the pool is huge and extends out to the outside. Obviously gym and beauty area with attached facilities.
SPA area: spotless and tidy. Sauna and Turkish bath, hot and cold showers, cold water bath for feet and relaxation area (a little small). The only flaw: the rude. People who come in randomly (even with shoes), who keep their cellphones on, who make the sauna with their slippers the smartwatch that lights up all the time, who speak loudly, who look out into the sauna and keep the door open for nothing, bulky ladies with synthetic one-piece costumes so big that they can cover a car. No fault of the hoteliers of course but I would suggest, which I have seen done in other places, a check every now and then.
Unfortunately, the adults only formula does not protect from rude.
The staff: excellent. Since arrival great welcome from all. Family and collaborators.
The hotel also offers underground covered parking for a fee. Indispensable because in San Candido there are no free public parking lots close enough to the center.
The quality / price ratio completely satisfactory.

We stayed for 6 nights, at the Post Hotel, to go skiing. It was divine. The hotel has been decorated in a contemporary manner, with lovely touches of antiques and alpine flair. The room (suite) was spacious and beautifully decorated. The Wellness centre has everything you need and never feels crowded. As for the food.....delicious! The half board menu was always 7 courses with choices. The wine menu has a good selection of local, Italian and international wines. The hotel position, in the centre of San Candido, is ideal to explore the sights and shops. The Baranci ski slope is not more than a 10 minutes walk away, but there is also a ski bus stop just outside the hotel. In addition the hotel's own ski bus can take you to the larger Monte Elmo ski area in about 10 minutes.
The stay was so good, we are planning a return stay next year.

Great hotel for a relaxing time in the 3 Zinnen region. We stayed at the Hotel Post for a long weekend and were looked after and cared for by the always attentive and super dedicated team from the first "welcome" to the farewell. Nothing was missing in our double room "Cielo", the large storage space in the closet and the spacious bathroom were particularly practical. Thanks to the excellent sound insulation, we didn't hear anything from our neighbors or from outside.

The half board includes a very extensive breakfast and a multi-course evening menu with several choices. The kitchen is excellent!

The Spar area has been newly designed and is very clean and well thought out. We really enjoyed the sauna and the relaxation room at the Secret Garden.

We were totally surprised by the wide range of leisure activities in and around Innichen. We were only able to take part in a fraction of the activities on offer (including a guided snowshoe hike - free for hotel guests!). The hotel is in a perfect location for sporting activities such as skiing, hiking and cycling.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this magnificent hotel: the structure is beautiful, beautiful rooms (we were in one of the suites), the Spa superb, let's say that the architects gave their best in thinking and setting it up; I also add very kind staff, with a special mention for Natalia, a professional and very kind restaurant room person, bravo! I would just like to make a few small observations that would make this hotel perfect: returning from a day of skiing or hiking is reductive a snack only of sweets, I would expand the buffet with also salty and in any case in general I would make a buffet for people who are also attentive to health and well-being. Another observation is the Spa garrison: used to frequenting Spas in South Tyrol, it is usual that there are staff who continuously keep the Spa clean, who enforce the canons of how to attend the Spa: almost everyone had costumes in the sauna or in the Turkish bath, people walked barefoot through the common areas, many did not have a towel in the sauna,... it would not be bad to have someone who teaches the culture of the sauna as well as making demonstrations about it. Obviously we will be back, too nice!

Ski holiday in San Candido with my wife, the hotel post is located in the center and 5 min by private shuttle from the slopes of the ski area drei zinnen. The shuttle service is always very convenient when the hotel offers it and we therefore used it.
The room was very nice, spacious and quiet despite the village road passing below, however for mountain lovers it is modern in style and is not South Tyrolean. The spa is well designed instead the pool had little interest because it is small and shallow and lacks a whirlpool.
Great dinners and really smart to keep a South Tyrolean menu always available for any changes of dish.
The breakfast was good and varied, I would perhaps have varied a little more the morning desserts.
Staff attentive and friendly.
The price is correct for the offer and the area, the only flaw is the paid parking.

We stayed at the Post Hotel from 5 to 13 August. It is the third time we choose to stay at this property, and again did not disappoint us. The hotel is located in the center of San Candido, an absolutely enviable location, ideal for those who want to experience the authentic atmosphere of the place without sacrificing comfort and services.
The rooms are spacious and well furnished, with attention to detail to ensure maximum comfort. An applause certainly goes to the cleaning service, impeccable and always on time. The feeling of order and freshness was a constant throughout the stay.
Another strength is the cuisine: the dishes are refined and refined, prepared with high quality ingredients and presented with care.
But what really makes this hotel special is the wait staff and bar. Special thanks go to Gabriel, Miriam, Giovanni and Rodolfo, who welcomed us with a unique cordiality and pampered us for the duration of our stay. Their attention and thoughtfulness made every meal a pleasure, making us feel at home.
Finally, the SPA is a real pearl. An oasis of relaxation where everything is designed to offer an exceptional wellness experience. Clean, refined and relaxing environments, perfect for unwinding and regenerating.

The stay at this hotel was once again perfect. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to live a relaxing holiday and attention to detail.

Pampered and happy, this can only be the comment on a half-board week spent in this welcoming hotel.
Large room, bathroom with separate bathtub and shower cabin, balcony overlooking the town centre, renovated spa and swimming pool.
What can we say about the cuisine curated by chef Raffaele Liuzzi? Careful, beautiful presentations, variety, not only at dinner but also at lunch if you wanted to stay in the hotel, we absolutely did not miss the buffet present in other years to accompany the cuisine and now present only for bread, cheeses , fruit and breakfast, compliments indeed but from a chef with his starred past one could not expect less.
A special compliment to the young Nicla who always took care of the service at our table with a smile and professionalism.
So a big thank you to the Wachtler family who expertly manages the structure where we returned, and we will return, with great pleasure

10 years ago we had a great time, so on 2 September this year we return without hesitation again to San Candido and again to the Post hotel. Surprised, totally renovated, we are left a little disoriented trying to mend the memories. The confusion soon gives way to wonder, the modernization is not cold and aseptic as can happen in perfect structures, because, yes, it is on the cover of an architecture magazine but inside there is the soul, the history, the effort and above all the smile of the Wachtler family and you can feel it all! It can be understood from the warmth of the welcome, from the good morning every morning at the reception, from the attention to breakfast, from the kindness in providing us with information on activities in the town and surrounding areas, from the care in arranging the room, from the pampering of the snack, from the explosion of flavors during dinner and from the comfort of goodnight in the evening after the walk around the centre.
The price is not small, at least for our pockets, but honest for the amazing service offered.
On the 11th we left for our beloved Rome, but lighter, recharged to face another working season and with a wealth of new emotions and memories that enrich us.
Thanks to the entire Wachtler family, and to all their collaborators, starting from the cleaners, passing through the waiters, ending with the chef.
Thank you very much, have a good road and see you soon.
Simona and Matteo

An exceptional hotel in all respects. Central location (50 meters from the main street).
Perfect rooms in all respects (space, cleanliness, overlooking). The rooms on the upper floors are much more panoramic. Comfortable beds and choice of three different types of extra pillows. Large and very functional bathroom.
Fantastic welcome from the owner and the reception girls always very kind and extremely available
We were pampered, we were offered for two evenings aperitifs with appetizers
Superb panoramic terrace with 360o views of the surrounding mountains.
Also great food for breakfast and dinner and waiter service
For a small fee there is the possibility to use the garage a few meters from the hotel

We booked a "Cielo" room which, quoting the booking email verbatim, could have a view of Dobbiaco or a view of the city centre, while ours was a "wall view". Having pointed out the problem, we were kindly replaced with a "Stella" room, with a view of the city centre.
The cleanliness and courtesy of the staff in the spa (small and without hydromassage, but recently renovated) and in the room were also greatly appreciated.
The sore point is undoubtedly the cuisine, especially for those like me who have food allergies. I have an allergy to nuts and a lactose intolerance, both of which were made clear at the time of booking and reiterated upon my arrival: nevertheless, after 5 evenings in which the kitchen was unable to prepare alternative dishes (among various dishes I was served boiled broccoli and inedible gluten-free pasta, not to mention that I was not able to eat any dessert, except creme caramel and strudel) and I was forced to eat elsewhere, especially after the owner of the establishment accused me with a very rude and aggressive tone of being a capricious and heavy-handed customer, when allergies are a HEALTH problem for which people risk their lives and not a simple whim and above all even allergic people have the right to eat with dignity, especially if there it is located in a 4 star superior.
