We stayed a week in this beautiful hotel at the foot of the Baranci. Perfect location, with panoramic views of San Candido, five minutes from the centre. Having breakfast at the tables outside is priceless.... Friendly staff, clean and tidy rooms and areas, and last but not least... top cuisine. Highly recommended!!

Staying in this hotel means being welcomed into a family environment where the attention and services are largely 4-star and not 3-star. The structure is very well looked after, in a strategic position. a few steps from the center, a few meters from 2 cycle paths, one for Sesto and one for Dobbiaco and above all you can enjoy a breathtaking view and a super quiet environment. During my stay I studied the locations of other famous hotels in S. Candido....but in my opinion none have the characteristics of Villa Waldheim. Compliments are obligatory to the owner of the hotel, a woman who is always smiling and available to accommodate every request, her daughter Valentina who is also super welcoming. Great credit to the breakfast and dinner service to Mrs. Francesca, a polite, smiling woman, kind and knows his job perfectly. A big round of applause to chef Alessandro...every evening he created enjoyable dishes and menus. Never banal combinations!! I recommend it to everyone and personally I will do everything to return. Perfect stay (12 days), we had a great time and felt pampered!! Family atmosphere, what we like ❤️ the location is optimal, just outside the center (5 min walk) very close to the ski lifts and as a backdrop postcard San Candido. Cows grazing right in front of us.. very relaxing place! Food = magical chef, we ate very well, wide choice and dishes that were always different and cooked with originality!! Located 5 minutes walk from the center but in a private location with breathtaking views of the mountains of Mount Baranci! Beautiful room with beautiful views. For the first part of our summer holidays we chose Val Pusteria and settled at this property. The staff was very kind and helpful with every request. The room with carpet and furniture a bit 'dated, was devoid of minibar, but the bathroom renovated in a modern and very spacious made up for the deficit 😊. The good location, on a hill overlooking San Candido. Standard breakfast satisfactory. But the real gem is the restaurant, exceptional dishes created by Sandro lo Chef, of excellent quality and workmanship. We also recommend this hotel for skiing as it is very close to the lifts and slopes.
