The experience lived at the Margherita hotel gave us 8 truly unforgettable days, all in the name of kindness, taste, serenity, beauty, simplicity and friendliness. We felt like at home. Top cuisine, dining room staff and all the staff always available, professional and with a smile. A special thank you to the owners who, with their sweetness, kindness and helpfulness, made our holiday even more special. Added value was the possibility of going on 3 excursions with the mountain guides, because they allowed us to admire and fully experience the splendor of the Palms of San Martino. Coming back to the city was really hard!!! And we miss those wonderful places so much. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, the perfect starting point to admire the unique beauty of the Dolomites. Thank you all, wonderful!! A special thanks to Mrs. Angela, Alessandro and the sweet Sama. And who knows, we'll see each other again in winter!! Marianna and family.

The welcome, friendliness and empathy of all the staff represents the strong point of this structure.
In particular Sama, the dining room staff, probably the smallest of the staff, and Angela, the fundamental pillar of the hotel, gave us many smiles but above all they made us feel immediately at home.
The location of the structure is excellent, in the center of San Martino, not brand new, but its somewhat "vintage" nature allows you to be even more in tune with the particularities of a mountain town. Excellent cleaning. The view from the room always offers breathtaking landscapes (ours had the attic with a small window where in the evening you could admire a super starry sky, the downstairs instead overlooked the Pale, characterized by always different colors based on the sunlight ). Excellent cuisine, from the buffet to the desserts, obviously we have always preferred the typical local dishes or those recommended by the chef, who, even if we have never had the pleasure of meeting, has shown passion and dedication with his delicacies mix of flavors. During the stay, there was the possibility of carrying out 3 excursions (Val di Roda, Piani della Cavallazza, Pale di San Martino) with qualified mountain guides ready to interact with people of all ages (from children to adults). They allowed us to get to know the particularities and diversity of San Martino, accompanying us on treks, which were so pleasant and interesting that the "fatigue" of the paths was not perceived. In short, our stay, which lasted a week at the Margherita hotel, gave us an unforgettable holiday, with days that were always different thanks to the many activities and excursions in one of the most beautiful towns in Trentino. We lived every day to the fullest, among woods, paths, animals, rivers, lakes, rocks. This is not a simple holiday, but it is the perfect holiday for those who want to escape from the chaos of the cities and enjoy the tranquility, beauty, uncontaminated and lively nature that this wonderful place offers. We will certainly return, always choosing the kindness and professionalism of this great staff.

We stayed in this hotel for the second time and it was a confirmation: familiar and friendly environment, well-kept common areas, the room (alpine triple) is not gigantic, it's true but the dimensions are perfect for 3 people, there is space for everything and a large wardrobe for clothes. The bathroom is livable, very hot when needed, in short, everything is very comfortable. The breakfast varies, although with a greater choice of desserts, excellent jams and propolis, which can also be purchased in the family shop. Dinner is served at the table, with a choice of different first and second courses (to be made the evening before), a wide choice of buffets and desserts. The only point is that if you are the last to arrive, both for dinner and for breakfast, the buffet lacks all the varieties that are at the beginning: it is not pleasant for the guest but understandable from the point of view of avoiding the waste and leftovers. Perhaps 5-star hotels don't have this problem but they are not comparable experiences: personally we prefer a small, more familiar environment (even in the restaurant room there is never extreme chaos or confusion even if full). There is a set of parking spaces in the facility that are reserved, we move the car several times and have never had a problem finding a spot. There is ski storage at the entrance and the hotel is right next to the rental. There is also a free ski pass collection service, so upon arrival at the hotel you will find your ski passes (if already purchased by the customer independently on the site). Contacts with the owners during the booking phase are courteous and fast, no problems or unexpected payments. Thanks also to the dining room staff, always smiling and kind, and to the cleaning girls. We did not take advantage of the entertainment and excursions offered by the hotel because they were already done last year but they are experiences worth trying.

Centrally located hotel. The managers are really helpful and always smiling can fully make the atmosphere of the family-run hotel feel, for me an added value. Very welcome excursions kindly offered by the hotel where the two guides Fausto and Luca with great competence accompanied us and made known a piece of history of those wonderful mountains. And I cannot fail to mention the sweet Sama who pampered us in the restaurant for the duration of our stay. Highly recommended.

We stayed for the second year at 'hotel Margherita and, although I had no doubts, it was a pleasant confirmation.
Located in the center, great starting point for several excursions, the hotel is cozy, very clean, the rooms are comfortable and spacious (we were in two adults and three children, plus the dog).
Excellent cuisine, hearty breakfast between sweet and savory, dinner with a choice of menus, from the typical dish to the vegetarian dish, with off-menu options for children.
Professional waiting staff, attentive and helpful, always pleasant to chat (with us there was Sama, a special girl).
The cleaning staff is always smiling and efficient.
We have used the spa several times, a real treat.
This year we did not participate in the excursions with the expert guides included in the stay, but we did last year and the guides are very prepared and nice people, they make you know and love the mountain even more.
Unfortunately the weather has not been in our favor these days, we saw the sun for just over a day, but the 'welcome and helpfulness of the owners did not make us miss its warmth!
They are lovely people, always with a smile and ready to meet any request.
Congratulations to all the staff of 'hotel Margherita!

Hotel located in the center of San Martino di Castrozza, a few meters from the structure and the skybus stop to get to the main ski resorts without using the car.
The hotel is very welcoming, it feels like being at home, the rooms are spacious and clean, the owners are wonderful, very friendly and nice people who know how to pamper their customers.
Regarding the cuisine and breakfast, nothing to complain about, everything is really very good, the portions are generous and tasty, praise also to the Chef as well as to the dining room staff, we will definitely be back next year, we had a great time, thanks also to the very nice and non-intrusive entertainment guys, thank you all for a wonderful holiday.

We spent a wonderful week at this property which we highly recommend for the services, hospitality and welcome of the owners and all the staff. The cuisine was excellent. We had the opportunity to take advantage of some free guided tours by expert mountain guides who made us appreciate the wonders of the mountains surrounding the town. An experience definitely worth repeating.
Thanks again for everything and the very welcome gift received before departure...Danila and Alessandro.

Ten relaxing days at this hotel. Commendable welcome and sympathy from the managers, friendly and precise staff. Breakfast more than complete (sweet, salty) and plentiful as well as dinner. Rooms clean and equipped with good facilities. On a positive note in the organization of the hotel is the free offer of three weekly excursions on mountain trails with mountain guides. In particular regarding the latter we were led by Renzo, a person of vast culture, sympathy and irony assisted by the equally valid Luca in the rearguard. BRAlVISSIMI!!! I hope to meet them again in the future.

For the third time I returned with my husband and a group of dear friends to spend in July 2 weeks at the Hotel Margherita as if it were our home! Delightful people, human and always available, so I would define the owners of the structure and very good, attentive and nice members of the kitchen staff and the room used for dinner and breakfast! I have not, indeed we do not have to say anything negative in the stays of these three years, we have never looked for stellar structures, we prefer to feel at home and the Hotel Margherita gave us just this priceless feeling, with the little attention, with the nice chats between old friends, with meals prepared and served with care. Thanks again for everything Hotel Margherita, we always carry you in the heart and for us you deserve 10 stars!!
