Value
Hotel Orsingher is waiting for you in San Martino di Castrozza, a few steps from the town center and only 300 meters from the Tognola Ski Area, with the warm hospitality of Taufer Family. Here all makes everyone feel at home: the warmth of the wood, the spaciousness of the common spaces and the possibility to choose the suitable rooms also for families with children. Many appreciate the Enrosadira wellness center, the typical Trentino dishes offered by the restaurant, the miniclub and the library with books on the mountains and local traditions. The hotel is pet friendly and dispose of amenities such as courtesy set with blanket, food-bowl and snacks.

We have been coming here for ten years. Overlooking the reasons why we return to San Martino (an ideal location for families with children), we feel, quite simply, at home in this hotel. Of course there is room for improvement, but the treatment, hospitality and value for money are ideal.
What I would improve is the usability of the wellness center. Since it is shared with two hotels, I would extend the opening hours as much as possible, also granting children access from 6pm to 7pm (today denied). And since there is an evening mini club dedicated to children, I would invent an extraordinary opening of the aforementioned wellness center after dinner, perhaps from 9.00pm to 10.00pm, this time yes, dedicated exclusively to adults. Maybe alternate days between the two hotels on the busiest days.
I have nothing to say about the cuisine, the kindness, the cleanliness except that they are all very positive. Good location. Three minutes from the center and in front of the ski bus and bus stop.
In short, much more than recommended.

The hotel has recently reopened and perhaps needs some more attention to the details of the rooms and to reactivate the restaurant and spa to become more attractive and worthy in all respects of its 4 stars. The bar also has an outdoor space but perhaps it should make better use of its potential, for example with some good music. However, the service is already 4 star, with very kind and always available staff, from the reception to the breakfast room, where the young and friendly Andrea shines. The breakfast is rich and varied. Cleanliness is excellent. The location is very central and strategic. Covered parking is free. Advised.

We spent a week in August 2024 at the property. Really a pleasant experience. Location great rooms overlooking the Pale, cozy comfortable and very clean, friendly staff and available to support for every need.
Also excellent pool and SPA that exceeded expectations.
Good breakfast and dinner with variety of choices
We traveled as a family with a dog and he too was welcomed and pampered in due respect of other guests (eg breakfast room and separate dinner for guests with dogs if you want to bring the dog with you).
In conclusion excellent experience to repeat with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff as added value in more

Among the pros of the structure: the waiting staff, very kind. Specifically the room manager. Availability, kindness, sympathy. Vote 10/10! Maximum attention to gluten and lactose issues. We ate well despite all the various personal limitations of the case.
The bed was really very comfortable, I think one of the most comfortable beds ever tried in recent years of mountain holidays.
Super strategic location, convenient to the center (2 min walk) and all the most famous attractions in the area (eg lift refuge rosetta, rolle pass etc).
View from the crazy window! Possibility of on-site parking (free outdoor, paid indoor upon Reservation)

Among other cons: the staff at the reception was not exactly the best of sympathy. The decor of the room a bit 'of other times, but on this you can pass over. The real problem was the bathroom. It has not been considered that there are people with different physicalities who may have difficulty moving within such small spaces. I speak in particular of the shower (the small box and with an important riser to enter moreover slippery once wet) and the cup. The space was so tight that the usual position was impossible unless there was a child using the toilets, otherwise you would get stuck against the shower glass. There was no living space to keep your legs bent at 90 degrees. I don't think it's possible to have the cup positioned like that (forcing people like me, relatively tall, but not so tall, to stand obliquely during their physiological needs).
On the penultimate day we requested a towel change. Upon our return to the room not only were our old people no longer present, but there were not even clean ones finding us so devoid of any. At the request to have them cleaned, we were only given a clean change (I had mine and I managed without having to go back down and ask for more (the initial request left the staff a bit puzzled) but knowing that there were two of us, I thought it was the minimum).
Of all the electrical outlets in the room, only two worked. Those adjacent to the beds to which the lamps were connected, among other things.
The spa was open until 6am to children, which of course made it impossible to relax (despite being forbidden, children were constantly diving and splashing people. This is not a problem of the structure of course. But families who should explain to their children that in public at the spa, out of respect for everyone, you should have behaviors more appropriate to the context). Access was only possible for one hour upon Reservation. We had not been informed in advance that a cap and bathrobe were required (they are given at the hotel, but upon payment. If we had been notified maybe we would have also organized starting from home with everything you need).

Overall the location is really so strategic and also the view from the room deserves so much!!

Bad hotel experience stuck in the 70s in the furnishings of the rooms. Eating in the evening is a mystical experience, never had such a bad meal in a hotel. The rooms are totally not soundproofed so you will have a common experience with yours. neighbors. The only plus point is the kindness of the dining room staff but forget that of the reception managers. Avoid this hotel!!!!!

I returned this year for the skiing holiday after having been there last year for a weekend booked by chance in this hotel, I was so enthusiastic that I returned with some friends who loved it. Value for money more than good, cuisine improved since last year which was already good. Availability and courtesy of all the staff are truly unique, the rooms are beautiful, welcoming and clean with a unique view of the Pale di San Martino. The swimming pool and the Spa are also beautiful, the only "flaw" is the reservation to enter and the limited time of one hour which is more than enough! I will definitely recommend it and will be back! Thank you for your kindness and availability.
Catia.

We spent a peaceful week. Friendly staff and always attentive to the needs of guests. Comfortable room with a balcony from which to enjoy the view of the beautiful altarpieces of San Martino. Varied menu, great food and well served. Quiet spa with Expert massage staff. The location is also favorable, not far from the center. Very beautiful and well maintained walks with mountain guides. We recommend it with the hope of being able to spend a new holiday both winter and summer
